Everybody talks about Allen and how long he's going to play... Josh takes care of his body much better.. carries himself much better on the field.. Pat is always limping around

Pat looks 30 going on 35 sometimes

 

It's been awhile since KCs offense has looked great.

 

IMO the hardware race is going to be 3-1 in a couple months. Allen could catch up by the end. 

 

At this point he is by far the better QB

Stroud has made some nice throws and got out of some dirty pockets tonight. Chiefs have a good pass rush. It’s just a gritty game but I’d definitely want stroud in over Mills

Look at Josh break off his 40-yard touchdown run today Patrick mahomes does not have that explosiveness still.. Pat could move around and make some plays he doesn't have that anymore 

 

Sure that defense beat us up too but if you watch the Chiefs over the last 16 games and watched the bills their body language is not the same one guy is a lot more beat up consistently

 

You also don't see a lot of those crazy-assed arm angles he used to make a living with.

He can still throw on the run but he has to be more mechanically sound to pull it off now than he used to.

Yeah i’m not talking about anything regarding Allen from today or in his other monster games.  Only comparing what i see from Mahomes tonight vs Allen against Houston (67 QBR,  8 sacks,  20 yards rushing, etc).  Mahomes looked really solid on Thanksgiving, but yeah tonight he looks old and not very accurate through one half.

If they do miss the playoffs I wonder what he will look back with a full off-season. Deep playoffs runs year after year has to take a toll and a couple extra months rest can't fix everything.

I like the CB blitzes.  When pass rush with your front 4 is a problem blitzing your CB's is high risk high reward but needs to be done.  Burrow gets too comfortable and he destroys you, which is what happened our first 3 drives.

 

Instead of playing bend but don't break, hoping the other guys make a mistake, force the mistake.  Yes you are more likely to give up a big play.   That's ok.
