He was matched up with Chase more or less all the time, and Chase didn't do much at all. Five catches for 44 yards, and one run for 8. I didn't notice that the Bills were doubling him much. The last time we saw the Bills do that with a defensive back was Tre White in his prime, and even then the Bills generally were mixing it up. This was the Bills deciding, correctly, that Benford could turn it into a 10-on-10 game, and he did. That's pretty impressive. Against Tampa Bay he traveled with star rookie Emeka Ugboka who only managed 5 catches for 40 yards on 9 targets. The next week he traveled with Nico Collins who had just 3 catches for 55 yards. Of course against the Steelers he had a great game against both the pass and the run and deservedly won the AFC Defensive Player of the Week award with the scoop and score, the INT, and holding DK Metcalf to 3 catches for 32 yards on 5 targets. dakarider17 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago So I think the "play of the game" was the Benford int/pick 6. The reason it was so huge was the Cook fumble in the end zone. That drive the Bills had before the fumble was a 7 min drive that would have given the Bills the lead. Have to give credit to the offense as they didn't punt in this game. And obviously Josh Allen is what makes this offense go. The offense certainly did what they needed to do in this game and the defense made a couple huge plays. This may be the Bills recipe for success. Not exactly a sure file winning recipe but it may be all they have to offer. And that may be the recipe they need. Quote

You kick it away and if the Bills get a first down the game is over. 2. You kick an onside kick, and if the Bills recover they need a first down to end the game. Seems like both scenarios are the same, with scenario 2 having the benefit of maybe recovering the onside (especially considering the snowy slippery weather). I thought the same thing. Why are you kicking it off to a team you haven't been able to stop? Also, you have a much higher chance at recovering an onside in those conditions 1 Quote

Buffalo Ballin Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago We stopped JaMarr Chase today for anyone noticing. Also, Joe Burrow can't run. 1 Quote

They aren't elite and they will be exposed by good offenses. However, if they can make some big plays and some keys stops the team should be ok with Allen on offense. Tbf they’re not gonna play another QB as good as Burrow. He might be the best QB in football today. Sure they schemed some guys open but so many of these plays were Burrow or a receiver saying “I’m better than you” 3 1 Quote

There was literally nothing the Pistons could do. This is exactly how I felt watching Allen in this game. Legendary performance Quote

Josh might not be as pinpoint accurate and have as good as touch but he's got the strongest arm the league and the best improvisation in the world Edited 5 hours ago by Buffalo716 2 Quote
dcinmuncie Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I read somewhere that had the bills not traded for diggs in 2020 that Higgins was their target its insane how good he is. I’ve seen him play without chase and this dude is a number one receiver on 25 teams in the nfl. (Certainly ours) 1 Quote

Going for the 4th downs, especially on the last TD. Throwing at the end of the game. We are just...better when we're aggressive. Yes I know that being aggressive on D means that teams get big plays on us, but when we play passive they've been drinking and dunking. The D did so much better in the second half Quote
