Does anyone think Allen's scramble for the first down to clinch it was a called play?  It looked a lot like the clinching TD vs the Chiefs last year.  I think they told him to drop back and if someone wasn't wide open down the field (highly unlikely), just take off and do your thing...

no but it is one of his reads when defense is in man

But McD is a horrible coach, I’m told

He is likely as good a coach as John Rauch who coached the team the last time they did this in 1970 … they went 3-10-1 that year

Good point; they also were lucky on these two plays.

You do realize that most crucial plays usually involve the most minor details happening at the right time? An o-lineman gets his head on the wrong side of a block, defenders mix up a coverage, etc etc.  Your “luck” happens virtually all the time.

Absolutely. They would at least want the clock to run so no way he throws an incompletion. Either someone is wide open or run it.

That must have been when Bishop was reportedly cramping.

Thanks for the re-check. 🤙

He was on the field for the pick 6 too. I missed a lot of the potatoes of the game because I was coloring, doing playdough, and building blocks.

I'll be curious the snap counts when they're released.

Seemed to slow down. Probably the game camera angle.

edit - it was.  Benford had plenty to score.

If you're talking about Hancock, the pick-6 is the exact play we were discussing.

Just tell them you've been taking your meds on time and they might let you go home!

Bills 3rd down defense still needs work. It always come down to turnovers. Glad we got the win, but gonna come down to JA being superman and the d getting turnovers.

Hancock was on the field on 1st/10 when they were expecting a run so much that multiple guys bit on a play fake that Burrow never even ended up executing?!

I noticed they were being a little more proactive about getting him on the field early in the game (i.e. 3rd/5s instead of 3rd/9s) but I'm really surprised he was out there on 1st down in that situation.

The transition is continuing in real time.

You mean allowing an 80% conversion rate despite the opponent averaging 3rd and 7 or more is not good?
