Special K Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Personally, I'm a fan.....heck, I even listen to it during "Christmas in July". I like to listen to it while I'm putting up the tree or opening presents, but I am happy to listen any time during the Christmas season. I know this is not the popular opinion with a lot if people.......so do you like listening to Christmas music or not?? If not, why not?? Edited 10 hours ago by Special K 1 Quote
Gregg Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I don't mind it during the week leading up to Christmas but when they start playing it right after Thanksgiving, then that gets annoying. I don't need to hear it for a month. Quote

I don't need to hear it for a month. There was a local station here in Syracuse that several years ago started playing it at the beginning of October, just so they could claim that they were first. There was so much complaining that they never did it again. 2 Quote
SoTier Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago One of the Buffalo radio stations started playing all Christmas on Black Friday. That's a bit much for me, but playing more and more Christmas music is fine with me as we get closer to the holiday. I have a large collection of Christmas music on CDs as well several playlists on Amazon Music, from classical to country to bluegrass to novelties like the original Chipmunks "Christmas Don't Be Late" to "I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas" to "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". LeviF Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago "Christmas Wrapping" is the worst. Other than that, sure whatever. Quote
Draconator Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Christmas officially begins at 12:01 pm in our house. It doesn't begin until Santa Claus closes out the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We've been playing Jimmy Fallon's Christmas Station on SiriuxXM. It's decent. Just don't get too hyped up over any Michael McDonald Christmas tunes. 1 Quote
Fleezoid Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago NO! Radio stations have ruined it for me. Playing Christmas music non-stop from before Thanksgiving until after New Years is absurd! A local radio station does that here. Quote

I know many will disagree but I’ll take McCartney. Quote
US Egg Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago YES !!!! Listen to the same Xmas albums my Mother played. Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, Burl Ives, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons and Elvis. Also, starting Dec. 1st watch either a classic Xmas movie, cartoons or old TV variety Xmas shows on YouTube every night. Quote
Sweats Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Christmas music kind of gets me in a holiday good cheer mood, so i'm all for it. Quote
