I strongly agree with the bolded. I remember, when we were in (drought years) tight end purgatory, a coach saying that a truly valuable tight end is one who can be on the field in running AND passing situations, not allowing the defense to know what is coming. Dawson Know is that tight end. Elite? No. A very valuable contributor? Absolutely.

That was 20 years ago. A forever in the NFL. Knox is a top 12 TE.

Was hoping Kincaid was a go and not limited! Palmer is trending towards a Samuel status with minimal impact and injury. Surprised Dawkins is still in concussion status.

How many games has Kincaid missed this year? Concerning with his reduced snap count that he can’t stay healthy.

Kincaid, Palmer, Samuel, and Bernard, wow. Given their contributions to date, it might have been better to put them all on season-long injured reserve and sign players with less talent who can actually play.

Best case scenario: All of them return to full health (along with Oliver) for the playoffs. Realistic scenario: They all continue showing up as "Limited" on the injury report but never show up on the field. Or, if they do, immediately get injured again.

I'm a Bills fan, so I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

Kincaid is turning into a bust

Just can’t stay healthy. He’s tied for most TD’s in the receiver group with 4. Ironically, tied with Coleman.

When he plays, he’s impactful but thus far his durability is a major concern.

Fixed it for you. It appears we are both Knox supporters. 👍

Is Bernard getting the Taylor Rapp treatment?

I mean, I hope so. Bernard, like Rapp, appears to be hampered by injury.

I was surprised when Bernard turned into a serviceable linebacker, but he's a liability when he's not playing his "A" game.

If Bernard isn't 100% then there's no use playing, and lately, even at 100%, the Defense hasn't played well with him on the field.  The defense is clearly better with Thompson on the field. Not only the physicality, but Thompson has much better instincts, tends to be in the right place, and can play downhill to fill holes on the line.

IMO, assuming Bernard is 100%, I can see him as a situational Dime linebacker going forward.

I get it, he has not stayed healthy. But this is silly. Ill take his great production even just for half the games to be honest.

Dalton Firstaid still not a full go, huh?

Shocking

BuT hE iS a PlAyMaKiNg DiFfErEnCe!1!

Dude doesn't play. maybe he will pan out over the career arc in 3-4 years it'll be different but it was a dumb pick at the time and it is a dumb pick now. luxury pick that was wasted. just awful. it's great when he can make a big play and shows up to help win but when he doesn't play we are missing a major part of our offense.

for those coming at me with the statement that we didn't know he would be injured.... that's not the point. the point is that we did not need the position. we needed a WR, a safety (contingency for Poyer and Hyde departure in this complex defense), and linebackers (remember, at the time we did not know if Bernard would be a successful starter and he was and is undersized).

i'll never like this pick even if he goes to the HOF.

If we win the Superbowl and Kincaid goes off in the playoffs?
