More silver lining in my book.

Samuel and Hardman will be ready for the stretch run.

Based on whaaaaaaaat?  The only reason he hasnt been cut is we dont have the cap space to absorb the dead hit.

Hes literally had as many different injuries this season as he has receptions (7).

Bernard has a gross 47 pff grade good for 74th / 86 LBs

Shaq is 83. Good for 6th.

I don’t care if he’s a captain. If Bernard starts again over Thompson then McD needs to go

Thompson has looked good in the limited time we've seen him.

I've seen more than enough of Bernard to know the dude can barely walk, and the only reason hes suited up is been that they literally wont let him sit due to all the other injuries.  If we had enough others healthy at the position, he probably wouldve got multiple weeks off.  Im much more p*d at Beane for allowing this to happen, than I am Bernard pushing through an injury he 100% should not be asked to.  Dude has serious guts, and is being s*** all over for it.

Now, in your defense, Thompson's play has made it where you shouldn't take him off the field.  Thats a compliment to him more than a knock on Bernard.  The best news is Bernard will get a chance to get right, hopefully an extended one.  If Thompson continues to play like he has, he needs to keep starting, and having a healthy/healthier Bernard is a great alternative should we need it.

Its mind boggling how hurt everyone is though.  Benford really turned on the boosters as of late, and looks back to old self.  Same with Milano.  Im not counting on their continued health as is, but its nice to get confirmation these guys aren't suddenly dogs***, after getting extended. As far as Milano, hes gone next year either way, so lets hope we ring the sponge out on his usefulness at least

I like most of what you said. Beane keeps assuming player performance trajectories will keep improving or stay the same. They don’t. Most of these players prime years are 3-6 years depending on positions. Done a poor job of replenishing wr, DT (before this last draft- it was just d Carter in 2 years) and LB  in the draft. And to that end. He’s trading up way too much. We’re losing a lot of mid round picks because he thinks he MUST have this or that player. Hasn’t worked out.

This is one of those fake Bosa  injury reports posted in New England.

Josh has a sore elbow, could be out for the season

There was video with Bosa in the background walking around the field after the game slapping hands.. and in the locker-room.  He didn't look disabled or limping around.  Not saying it's a fake injury at all,,, he might've felt a tweak.  But this seems like more of an "abundance of caution" injury designation.  I bet if the Bills were in a Divisional playoff game this weekend Joey would be out there.

And the chances of it getting worse are very high if you play Bosa.  Hamstrings, like the WuTang Clan, are nothing to F with.

My guess - we won't see him again until Philly.

Didn't they used to ice up hamstring injuries with the big ace bandage wrap on the thigh?..Dont see that much anymore

I'm older than you.

I recall the days when the Bills training staff would use a buckskin wrap to hold a block of ice cut from Chautauqua Lake during the Mayville Winter Festival.

I had to check with AI just to be sure:

No. A spleen injury typically causes pain in the left upper abdomen and sometimes the left shoulder, but it does not directly affect the hamstring muscles.

Spleen injury symptoms: Pain from a spleen injury is generally located in the upper left abdomen, under the rib cage. A classic symptom, known as Kehr's sign, is referred pain to the left shoulder, caused by blood irritating the phrenic nerve near the diaphragm. Hamstring injury symptoms: A hamstring injury involves pain, tenderness, and sometimes bruising in the back of the thigh and has no direct anatomical or neurological connection to the spleen.

The only connection suggested outside of standard medical consensus comes from a non-traditional source which claims a link between the medial hamstring and the health of the pancreas and spleen based on flexibility practices, a concept not supported by conventional medical science.

Yes. Apparently he has dual strains off the gluteus maximus muscles and literally can't sit.

The athletic training staff has built a suspension device that essentially allows him to sleep in an inverted but upright position.

Maybe while he's out his wrist/hand will heal too. Just sucks.

Yes it does I hope that they can let him possibly sit this week and someone else steps up so he can heel completely he will be needed on the run the Bills are going to make in these last games and Borrow is a very illusive QB and even though he is needed now I would rather them put him on a snap count as to not hurt him more because like I said he will be needed for the deep run into the play offs and beyond ...

The Bosa injury is by far the biggest bummer for this weeks game, but honestly, I'm at the point, where I no longer care. We have a bunch of key guys, that I rather preserve for the playoffs, Bosa being one of them.  This hammy injury might be a blessing in disguise, as it will allow time for the wrist to heal.

Not sure what difference it makes if we end up as the 5 or the 7 seed.

If Bosa only ends up missing a game or 2 then that’s a W for Beane.

We are at the bottom of the league for pressures and sacks with Bosa.

I think this deserves context.

Prior to the wrist injury, he was consistently getting push/pressures. If you recall, he had a forced fumble in 3 straight games. This past week, he was playing with a much smaller brace, and looked a lot better. That's what makes the hammy injury that much more annoying.

We are 16th in pressure and 18th in sacks.  You can make your point without lying.

yes, our pass rush isn’t very good.  It’s not at the bottom of the league
