Not unexpected, it’s the issue with Brady’s offense and I had been saying for weeks stop trying to get every guy on the bench involved, especially splitting reps between Moore and Samuel, pick one and get that guy more involved in the offense. And that guy should have been Moore over Samuel. And if it was - then we'd have just released Moore yesterday to make room for Davis instead of earlier in the week for Cooks. Two guys had to go either way to make room for Cooks and Davis. Quote

Success Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I will choose to hold out hope for Keon. Imagine if he comes out & has a big day tomorrow? It would give all of us renewed optimism for the rest of the season. It could happen. 2 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I think Sammy Watkins is available. He should be nice and healthy since he hasnt played in a few years yet still young enough to be effective. Quote

But maybe they needed to this year. Back to how our conversation started, with you insinuating that in order to be lucky, you must be bold. The chiefs weren’t bold. They were just lucky to avoid injuries to key players. the 2 seasons in which they suffered key injuries, they didn’t win the SB. The OL vs Tampa and Rice vs Philly. Their last 2 Lombardis were won in seasons where they were anything but bold….yet lucky. so please don’t tell me that we aren’t lucky because we aren’t bold enough. If you said that we don’t win super bowls because we aren’t bold enough, that could be true. But that has nothing to do with a team being lucky or not. Quote

muppy Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) the fan base is very chippy and for the most part not very enthusiastic going into this game. And it seems like each and every game is a must DUB I do like reading the more optimistic points. Results from this game will tell us a LOT of what to expect moving forward I'll type this next but mostly for myself . Buckle UP Buttercup. This ride could be bumpy. He strikes me as just very young, like a 14-year old. Did you see him dancing on the sidelines in his street clothes before one of the games? A good kid, fun-loving, a bit lazy, not too bright, definitely not a full-grown man. He's a bit surprised everyone is making a big deal of his being late to a few practices, but he shrugs and thinks, "Whatever." To him, missing a few games is a bit of a bummer, maybe, but it's not the end of the world. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a great game tomorrow, not because McDermott game him a stern talking-to or his teammates disapprove of him, but because he's just in the mood to play well. Maybe he'll get on a roll and keep contributing the rest of the season. Or maybe it'll rain, he won't get targets, and it won't be much fun, so he'll start jogging his routes again and not bother fighting for balls because he doesn't feel it. Like so many people his age, he's a man-child. No one would much notice or care except he's in the NFL and his team badly needs him. If I were to project his future, I would say he'll do very little this year and next, get cut, picked up by another team, cut again, then, if given one last chance, suddenly explode not into a star but a solid contributor at age 27, when he finally grows up. 1 Quote

DuckyBoys Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago well I'll root for him to do well Think its up to the coaches to figure out more than jump balls on the sidelines Hes not the first tall lanky not fast wr to ever suit up and plenty before him found ways to be productive 1 1 Quote

I mean Brady took that out of the playbook 2 years ago 1 1 Quote

And how did we not realize that about this guy when we drafted him? That’s a huge fail by the organization. This isn’t romper room. We need grown men on the team. Not children. It would be one thing if this guy had uber talent that translates to a dynamic NFL receiver. You can deal with his immaturity then, like George Pickens. But Coleman’s game is of an undrafted free agent who played at a group of 5 school. With the drafting and bad contracts we have given out over the McBeane era, is it any wonder that we have not made the Suoer Bowl despite having a jewel in Josh Allen?!! In almost any other NFL city this side of Jacksonville, the media and fans would have run this group out of town. Did you see how pissed the Eagles fans were within 5 minutes of the game starting yesterday against Chicago? It was an ugly scene the entire game. And they have won 2 Super Bowls since 2017 including last year. McDermott and Beane are lazy and dim. And should be shown the door. Quote
