Maybe he offed himself after Mahomes lost

I guess he just decided to take it off. I don't remember, but USA Today said he took last year off, as well.

Pickens is so good that he's making Lamb look mediocre by comparison. Like they have a true #1 WR and across from him they have a Greek god.

Huge catch by Pickens on the slant play to close out the game.

I have no idea in what world anybody thinks that's a good plan to stop Mahomes on 3rd down.

3rd and 6-8 you have to remain neutral, but have a spy. 3rd and 2-4 yards you can't crash the pocket or line. It leaves someone unchecked over the top or in the flat on an easy route. The rush left someone the ability to get behind the cover 4 zone or cover 2 man (I couldn't tell which it was in that moment). The strong safety came in to cover the pressuring LB and take the tight end. Which KC did wonderfully by bunching their players together - and I can't be certain by memory looked like it drew double coverage on a TE or split at the bottom. There was a Chief down at the short yardage mark that was open for a 2-3 dump, also.

Just horrible timing for a bad defensive decision on a beautifully executed KC play likely schemed up by creating the scenario to make that play.

...and. For those wondering...If you try to throw screens on this you're a f'n moron because everyone is already advancing the LOS and the pocket doesn't ever get clean to create a bubble screen. A 3rd and short in a cover 2 with a safety checking down into the box allows the outside corners to press more in hopes that the safety will read the play fast enough to negate anything that doesn't break deep.

Chiefs could easily win out. Their remaining schedule is not that hard. Two easy road games and 3 moderately hard home games.

Easily? No. Texans,Chargers, and Broncos. At home luckily for them. But going 3-0 there won't be easy.

Titans & Raiders are the only road games left. Zero chance they lose to one of those teams.

But can they run the table? Yes.

Depending on the outcomes of the other games, the Chiefs have between a 35 and 42% chance of making the playoffs.

Even without having H2H tiebreakers with the current 3 wildcard teams?

And to top it off, I think they crashed both Ends and gave him the edge.

"Whoa, they'll never see this coming!"

Jason Garret said that Burrow has no rust, but he just missed an easy pass to Chase on that drive right before he said it.

Yes the turf toe sailed throw... but he might be able to dial in as he gets warmed up.
