I'm almost at the point where I hope we don't.  I don't want to hear that anything can happen in the playoffs.  No, the cream rises to the top in the playoffs.

I'd rather save the embarrassment to be honest and get a better draft pick, not that I trust Beane to do anything good with it.

Better draft pick 😅😂😆🤣Might as well light those on fire

As long as Josh Allen is healthy we make the playoffs. It’s a double edged sword because we make the playoffs and McBeane stay but if Josh gets injured and we miss it McBeane stay. Pegula is the worst and won’t fire them for whatever reason

Maybe missing the playoffs spurs the absentee landlord into action

Didn't keep them from beating an inferior opponent, unlike this bills, for whom every injury brings in catastrophic systemic failure

They played an injured Joe Flacco with no Chase…

I don’t care if they can beat the inferior oppponents..  Good for them, I wish we could.. but there aren’t any extremely flawed inferior opponents in the playoffs.

That's the only way any needed changes are even considered by Pegula, IMO.

Unlike the Sabres, postseason football has become routine.  Not making it should at least raise a Pegula eyebrow.  At least I would hope.

He's turning into late stage Ralph day by day. I don't have a lot of hope

Ok

I'm a believer. I think they are well on their way to another title.thidbyearbor next. Young, cheap and with an excellent coach and QB

Sort of true but we do seem to get those nail biters to inferior opponents in the wild card round of the playoffs lol. This year it’ll be funny when we lose to them and Pegula still doesn’t change anything…

Billsy thing to happen is Bills and Chiefs miss the playoffs.

Neither is missing the playoffs. Bills will get in as a 5 or 6 seed and lose first round because of coaching and Chiefs will barely get in as a 7th and get to the AFC championship because of coaching. But no worries we’ll run it back because hey we made the playoffs right Terry?!

Going to suck so bad.  Moving to the new house and this team's window may have already closed. I feel so bad for Josh and the incompetence he's forced to deal with in this front office.  But hey, I hear Shaq Lawson is back in town. 🙄

This week we'll basically end Pittsburgh's season.

Steelers cannot beat a good team unless they get a blocked punt, kickoff return or 2-3 turnovers

If all that happens it'll be a close game in the 4th quarter. Otherwise, we steamroll them because it's what we always do after a bad loss.

From there we just need a couple wins to make it. It's almost a sure thing.

That Miami game was a joke as they actually were a flawed inferior team, but we were also done after the Hamlin situation.  Almost lost to the Pats the week before and didn’t even show up against the Bengals week after.

Last year we blew the doors off the Broncos.  Regarded as having a Top 3 Defense.

This year, of all the teams in the mix, all are “good” and all have visible weaknesses.

Pats being inexperience (if it matters, maybe it won’t).   They’re very solid, no major weaknesses until now.. their OL will be an issue moving forward if Campbell & Wilson go the way it’s looking.  They’re also not exactly playing many heavyweight games.  Yes, they beat us.. Who’s their next best win?  Carolina, Tampa?  They don’t have the experience of playing healthy Baltimore or Kansas City in a big spot.

Im not down on them.. I just need to see it.  Kind of like how I needed to see it from Indy today, only for them to meltdown under the pressure after an early lead they carried until crunch time.

Hope you’re right on the pats but I trust a Vrabel coached team over a mcd coached team in the playoffs

And the rivers led colts and Rudolph led Steelers were “inferior” teams that played pretty well against us too in the wildcard round

We have been brutal on the road this year. I get that we have a talent deficit and play calling has been buns but the uncharacteristic penalties, turnovers, and complacency/lack of effort is what’s making the difference between wins and losses. The field in the AFC is nothing special. Need to get back to basics, start peaking toward the end of the season, get in and anything is possible.

Why would you want Denver? Their defense is on par with the Texans especially when Surtain comes back.

Cause I’d rather play them than the colts or ravens.

Denver’s offense is middle of the pack. Nothing really scares me on that side of the ball. If we can dictate game script, like last year in the playoffs, then I think we can win. If we play like we did against the Texans, I don’t really think it matters who we play cause we would lose.

Next week could be a key game...Steelers now currently out of the playoffs due to tiebreakers with Ravens, although they still have to play them twice.  Doubtful they win the division tho, so our game against them could become a big one.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm finally relaxing about this season.   I cranked the numbers on players lost to injury and am amazed that we are competing at all.

I feel like if this team can sneak into the playoffs and get healthy it could be a very exciting playoffs.  If not, Beane/McD and Co have a film room of video showing the holes in the team, specifically on defense and WR.  I'm to the point where lets just see what happens.

Maybe I feel this way a little because of my college teams (IU & UGA) are in the hunt to win in all.

This is not necessarily true. The Bills can certainly get in at 10-7 but it will matter which games they win and require at least some decent fortune in other AFC results. For instance, if the Bills beat PHI/NYJ/CLE but lose to PIT/CIN/NE, they are completely screwed.

Since they've moved to the expanded playoffs a 10 win AFC team has only missed once (Dolphins 10-6 in 2020). A lot of years a 9-8 team makes it.

It always looks tough, but the teams in contention end up playing each other in the back half of the schedule (and somebody has to lose in those matchups). We have tie breakers over BAL and KC. A win over PIT would basically seal 10-7 getting in (we would have a tie breaker over all the bubble teams other than HOU and JAX then and there won't be seven 11 win AFC teams).

3 spots for 6 teams right now.

Chargers 7-4 LV, Philly, KC, Dal, Hou and Den. They have one easy game left, rest will be tough. Their line is so banged up, betting they end up at 8 or 9 wins.

Jax 7-4 Titans x2 and Jets. Colts x2 and Broncos. 10-7 maybe?

Bills 7-4 Hoping we can bear Cin, Cle, Pitt and Jets to get to 11-6 but will see.

Pitt 6-5 Bills, Ravens x2, Dolphins, Lions and Cle. 9-8 maybe?

Or Ravens 6-5 Cin x 2, Pitt x2, NE and GB. 9-8?

Houston 6-5 Colts x2, KC, Ari, LV and Chargers. 4 huge games with Colts, KC and LA. 9-8 or 10-7 seems likely.

KC 6-5 Cowboys, Houston, Chargers, Titans, Den and LV. Need Den and one other to beat them to get them to 10-7.

Pitt/Balt are most likey going to take each other out of wild card. So really 3 teams for 5 spots.

Hou, KC and LA all play each other,  which helps. I think it will be 4 teams for 3 spots in the final weekend. Just hope the Bills are one of them.
