Do the Bills make the playoffs

We are all a bit upset, hurt and confused with our team.

 

AFC East champs is quite a long shot now.

 

We are 3-4 on our last 7.  

 

The playoffs are not guaranteed if we keep playing inconsistent and going win-loss-win-loss

 

So public poll, do we make the playoffs or end up on the outside looking in

Anything can happen, this is the most wide open the conference has been in some time.

 

That being said, the most probable scenario is the Bills finishing as a 5th-6th seed and they’ll have to win this thing from underneath.

Consider we have the h2h tiebreakers of teams like Baltimore and KC that might be looking to leap us gotta think we have that in our favor. Of course it will depend how we play last few weeks.

Hey, having a 2nd place schedule next year would be refreshing. And I still think they make the playoffs this season.

I agree. Before the year started we were talking about tie breakers with Balt and KC for top seed, but we are actually talking about tie breakers to get in the dance with them

Remaining schedule is not exactly easy.  I only see one sure win (Jets) the others are all very losable, especially if Rodgers and Burrow are playing 

 

At Pitt (50%)

Bengals (75%, 50 if Burrow plays)

At NE (40%)

at Cle (75%)

Philly (40%)

Jets (99%)

Why, so we can play Jacksonville, KC, and Baltimore like we always do? Lol. 

I know we play the AFCW next year so the KC thing doesn't matter. But so far all the second place teams are all teams that have been first the last few years.

The next 5 games are all ones that will be tough to win. Then behind us, you have the Texans who now own the head to head tie breaker, a surging Baltimore team and a Chief team that can hit a hot streak anytime. 

 

I think when the music stops, there's a shot we could be left without a chair.

I think we get to 10-7, which should be enough, as long as we win next weekend against the Steelers. 
 

We’d have tiebreakers over KC, PIT & BAL.  CIN is already at 7 losses so they’d have to run the table to have a H2H over us at 10-7 to matter.

 

AFC South will cannibalize itself down the stretch.   Colts and Texans still play each other 2x.  Jags/Colts also 2x.  
 

If Stroud can be competent when he comes back, I wouldn’t be shocked if they take the Division.  Jags have the easiest schedule remaining of the 3 with 3 tough games and 3 easy games.. but they’re also Jekyll & Hyde and like us, can lose to anyone. 
 

Chargers schedule after this weekend is maybe the toughest in the NFL, along with the Colts schedule.   Both are brutal.

The second schedule would break down like this:

 

1st place plays-

Colts

Rams

Steelers

 

2nd place plays-

Jacksonville or Texans

Seahawks

Ravens 

 

Now fully understand, some of those could change or flip flop...but there isn't much of a difference either way. It's a pick your poison.

Yes.  If we can’t beat teams like Pittsburgh and NE, we don’t deserve to be in the playoffs.  But we’ll beat them and get in.

How sad is it that we went from trying to predict how long we can go before we get our first loss to wondering if we'll even make the playoffs. What a disappointment of a season this turning out to be.

NE has to play Cincy, Baltimore , and the Bills.. 3 possible losses.. we go undefeated , Div is ours.. if that plays out.

I think so. They could win in the playoffs too. I just don’t think that they can win 4 in a row. They’re way too flawed and inconsistent.

I think they probably do make it, but if they miss I don't think I'd be that upset.  Its time to make some changes, and I think a miss would help move us on.  

 

I don't know, seeing Allen utter "what the ***** are we doing" last night in frustration feels like a foreshadow of things to come....

Since the Bills love playing down to their competition I see em beating Pitt, Cincy, Philly, and NE. They’ll lose to CLE and NYJ.

That's a fair take.  With how inconsistent we have been, it is possible we go under .500 the last 6

I'm naive enough to hope they are saving some stuff for the playoffs and sleepwalking a bit through the reg season. But I drink the Bills kool aid
