Bray Wyatt Posted Friday at 07:43 PM Posted Friday at 07:43 PM (edited) We kept seeing them take McDonald and Hunter off the field on first and second, and then bring them in on third rested and ready to rush. Why didnt we try to up tempo them and keep them from subbing? Why didnt we call faster hitting pass plays early in downs besides the wr screens that got blown up? Do we ever run a slant? I was shocked that we finally started seeing some pick plays on the last drive, but why wait until then to bring them out? Edited Friday at 07:43 PM by Bray Wyatt 2 1 Quote
zow2 Posted Friday at 08:33 PM Posted Friday at 08:33 PM I strongly believe that Allen's yelling "what are we doing!" that was caught on camera had nothing to do with getting the play in late. I think he was mad about the play call itself. He was just covering for Brady after Allen realized his frustration was shown on TV. Let's be real. It was 4th and 1, Allen had to go backwards 5 steps, to hand off to Cook who needed to move forward 6 or 7 steps for a first down. Instead of Just going the least amount of yardage, and Allen bulldozing ahead. Much like the Eagles do,,, EVERY SINGLE TIME. Brady cannot get fired soon enough. 1 1 2 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted Friday at 08:34 PM Posted Friday at 08:34 PM (edited) At this point just get in. 5 seed 7 seed, who cares. Once you are in, You never know. If we miss the playoffs all together it will be an inexcusable disgrace and I’ll be absolutely furious. I have been so frustrated with this team all year but I’ll come off it if we get in. All I want is a chance. If we miss the playoffs with Josh Allen every person in the building needs to be fired. There is no excuse Edited Friday at 08:36 PM by Brianmoorman4jesus 1 Quote

Matt Rhule was a horrible HC who fired Brady. Most knew Rhule was a bad coach and thought Brady was a scapegoat. I think it’s fair to say Rhule was indeed horribly bad but Brady still deserved it. 🤦♂️ 1 1 Quote

ngbills Posted Friday at 09:01 PM Posted Friday at 09:01 PM Byron Leftwich as passing game coordinator? He was a hot commodity for a bit. Fresh set of eyes cant hurt. 1 1 Quote
harmonkillebrew Posted Friday at 09:24 PM Posted Friday at 09:24 PM He should be fired if the team doesn't rally. Throw McD out with him. Quote
ngbills Posted Friday at 09:25 PM Posted Friday at 09:25 PM Funny posts from Panthers board years ago on why Brady was fired...sound familiar? Brady seemed to run a very simple and predictable offense. Similarly to Reich, I felt like we never ran RPO, rubs, double moves, motion. No creativity and teams seemed to know what was coming. But I also think he was a scapegoat for the Rhule era, a bit. I am not convinced that Rhule allowed Brady to run his full offense. I liked Brady in 2020. He was the first actual OC we'd had in years. He schemed receivers open. He beat blitzes with quick routes. He wore down defenses without using an MVP quarterback to do the wearing down. Then 2021 happened. I honestly think he wanted out. That offense was putrid. It wasn't designed to move the ball. We won some games early on because our defense was shutting people down and nobody told our offense they were supposed to be bad. Then sometime after week 3, we were running an offense that resembled high school football. Granted, it would've been a very high level high school football team, but it still wasn't professional level football. I honestly can't describe it; its like everyone knew what we were doing pre-snap and it was the most basic of plays. It honestly looked like sabotage to me. I believe Brady wanted out of the Rhule mistake. I didn’t hate Brady really…he just…ugh, was so predictable! Bro called screens like at least twice a drive if I remember correctly. The screens would gain 1 yard max Teddy would throw a checkdown behind the line of scrimmage on 4th and 8 with 13 seconds left in the fourth quarter, down by 4 at the opponent 25 yard line. He had 27 games to learn on the job honestly. His scripted opening was pretty decent but then it came time to call plays on the fly and he just fell apart. Don't hate the guy but his offensive scheme wasn't a good fit for Rhule's power run vision (regardless if you liked Rhule) and he kept making the same mistakes. He shouldn't have been hired as a OC with such little experience in building a program in the first place, the guy only called red zone plays at LSU. 1 Quote

billieve420 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago This rings so true. Think Brady is a goner as his passing offense is too elementary. Works great if you have elite weapons like he had at LSU but only highlights issues with middling talent at the position. 2 1 Quote
Comebackkid Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Amazing how regardless of what free agent is brought in there they suddenly cant run routes or get open. If i was a free agent right now no way in hell would i come to buffalo. watch the video and tell me how many times palmer caught the ball that would be considered "covered' by buffalo standards. cant tell me in one year that Palmer forgot how to play football or run routes or how to catch the ball. 1 1 1 Quote
SCBills Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) The more time that passes from the Houston game, the worse it gets. Houston players basically laughing at our Offense and NFL tape breakdown guys on social media all but calling Brady a clown. Edited 16 hours ago by SCBills 2 Quote

Big Turk Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Got to this off-season or it will be like a Dorsey situation going into next year again. He has been figured out and he doesn't have enough answers in the pass game. The biggest issues at WR are the concepts, schemes and route combinations and nuances involved. Other teams can figure out ways to get players open, Brady routinely struggles too often. He doesn't know how to use boundary receivers properly. Diggs was a non-factor under him after averaging 86 yards a game under Dorsey. Davis has multiple 0-0 games where he was a blocker. It's unacceptable that he cannot figure out how to use what he has properly. He does a lot of things good but what he doesn't do well is what is killing him because it's a key to being able to consistently win in the NFL. He forces Allen to play the game on hard mode too often in the passing game when it shouldn't be like that. Edited 16 hours ago by Big Turk 2 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I agree that Brady should go. My main reasons are he doesn't adjust to what defenses are doing in-game, and he runs the same plays out of the same formations way too often. But if the Bills and Beane specifically think firing Brady this off-season is enough to help Josh, then they are making a huge mistake. They NEED a talented receiver who offenses have to worry about on every play, who opens up the field. Give up Keon in the deal for a player or to move up in the draft. Then Palmer can play the second fiddle role, and Shakir the slot, and you've got Davis or Samuel at WR4 along with some speedster at WR5. Kincaid and Hawes are fine at TE. Everything should open up with that WR1, and you can also get huge gains with Cook/Ty catching short passes. If we could only do one of the two (fire Brady or get a legit WR1), I'd go with getting the receiver. 1 Quote

As frustrating as this season has been they absolutely have an incredible chance to get to the super bowl with the state of where the AFC is right now. If anything going in as a road wildcard would take a lot of pressure off.... There is no excuse to not get in. I'm exactly where you are at. And if they get in, I'm actually optimistic a little. 16 hours ago, SCBills said: The more time that passes from the Houston game, the worse it gets.
