wjag Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Last week you could not find a sane Chief's fan who believed Denver would be able to beat them. You know, Denver has beaten up on soft teams. The big, bad red machine was gonna put Denver in their rightful place. No way Denver would be able to hold them below 20 points, yadadada.. And then the come to Jesus moment happened as the FG sailed through the uprights as time expired. It only took a few days for the shock to wear off before Chief's fans began spinning a new narrative. Having almost certainly lost the AFC West crown, they are now pivoting to: Once the Chief's go on the road in the playoffs as a low WC seed, Mahommes/Reid will cement their legacy with a WC run to the SB. I know we should be allied with the Chiefs this week against the Ponies team from Indianna, but I so badly want them dead and buried. Another loss would all but do that. Big Turk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago They were coming off a bye also, Reid's specialty at ensuring they get wins in those situations. 1 Quote
Udubalum07 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I have seen quite a few chiefs fans wanting Reid to retire. Kind of crazy having been to 8 afc championship games in a row. I would love to see them miss the playoffs. The good news is either team losing helps the bills this week. 1 Quote

I am 100% rooting for the Colts. The Bills have to catch the Patriots first before we start worrying about Denver and Indy’s record 3 Quote
Fleezoid Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As advantageous as it might be for the Chiefs to beat Indy, I simply can't do it at this point. And I refuse to do it. 1 1 2 Quote

KC has knocked us out of the playoffs four times, including two where just about everything went our way... Get them out and we immediately have our best chance at a Super Bowl appearance even if we enter as a wildcard. I know we can beat the other AFC contenders. I don't know if we can beat KC. 2 1 1 Quote
Walking Tall Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don’t think Chiefs fans are wrong with that thinking. Let’s say the Bills and Chiefs are wildcards…..who would you take as the AFC representative, one of the three wildcard teams or one of the four division champs? I’d lay my money on a wildcard team being the AFC champion. The AFC is wide open. Quote

strive_for_five_guy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I will probably be pulling for the Chiefs to beat the Colts, as I haven’t given up hope for the one seed yet. Quote
May Day 10 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago They're probably losing games on purpose so everyone doubts them and they can get in as a wild card 1 Quote

HappyDays Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just now, Gregg said: I don't think the Bills can beat the Ravens in Baltimore. I don't love the matchup and it sucks that it feels more and more likely we'll get them in the wildcard round. But there is proof of concept that we can beat them in the playoffs. Home or away doesn't really matter to me. There is no mental block that exists with the Ravens. With the Chiefs it is 100% mental from the coaches to the players. If anything the Ravens are the ones with the mental block because we've beaten them twice and Lamar has his own mental issues in ths playoffs. 1 2 Quote

To be honest this is where I'm at as well (them going on a run as a WC team). That's why I don't want them to qualify. I'm convinced even if they get in as the 7th seed they'll still get every break possible to reach the Super Bowl Quote

It just doesn't matter to me nearly as much as avoiding KC entirely. Of course I'd prefer homefield advantage if we can get it but there's no opponent where I think that is going to be the difference in the outcome. Quote

And imagine if WC weekend the Chiefs didn't make it and the #5 Bills go to #4 Ravens and win. Even though this a flawed Bills team belief would be through the freaking roof. 1 Quote
