His toughest test will come this Thursday when he plays against the NFL's #1 defense.    Best 3rd down defense.  The Bills will have to run a balanced attack and keep that defense honest with play action.   The OL really needs to step up this week.  Josh needs to forget those lame interceptions against Miami and Tampa and turn it on a notch and get a win in Houston.  His last two trips there were not very good (except for the receiving TD)

No one is HOF worthy on every throw.  I was talking to my workout buddy each early morning, and he was like, Josh is a cyborg.  I responded you’re just figuring that out, and he is a football expert.  He stated, you just can’t beat the guy.  He makes a mistake and then does super human things.  I responded as my backup team is the Bucs and Mayfield.  I told him and if you look at the schedule, the only game in play for them is this week against the Rams.  The key for the Bucs is get Irving back along with Godwin.  Evans is out for the year with the broken scapula.

 

The rest of the Bucs schedule is a piece of cake except this Sunday against the Rams.  The only crappy thing is it’s in LA, and the Bucs don’t have fans that travel like the Bills or Steelers.

And I think anyone who watched the game knows exactly what he means. It was not 60 mintues of consistent good QB play. If it had have been the Bills hang 60 on the Buccs.

Correct...and I am glad he was able to overcome those mistakes and pick himself up and then play a great game....something he missed out in Miami,..If he doesn't fumble and then scores, we are probably having a much closer ball game there

Yea it is the Josh standard. That wasn't in his 10 best games as a Bills QB. Might not be in his top 20. He played better against KC IMO. And yet he scored 6 touchdowns rush and pass. A top 10 Josh day on Sunday and that score would have got embarrassing quickly for Tampa. 

 

EDIT: and he is the only QB in NFL history who could score 6 combined touchdowns and not have a top 10 career day.

I completely agree he was off, but I’ll give him a pass.  😁
 

Some of the issues were him trying way too hard early.  I think there were game plan adjustments, such as RB passes and down field throws.  Remember that Josh hasn’t really had a downfield passing attack since Brady became OC.  
 

I think Houston is in for a surprisingly hard game despite their good defense.  I think Brady, Josh and McD have finally decided to unleash the offense with the returns of Davis and Palmer and we’ll be the better for it.

It was funny because the guy was gassing him up and he kinda had that weird look and then said in a long drawn out way "yeahhhhhh...I mean I don't think I played too well to be honest...missed some throws I don't normally miss, made a bad decision trying to avoid a sack on that INT....you can't have that"
