They may have their hand forced before they get the chance to use all the call ups. Lots of teams need WR's and more teams would like to F the Bills over. Now that he's proven he's healthy, someone may try and poach him. Only way to block that is to sign him ourselves. 1 Quote

Pecker Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I wouldn’t chalk all this up to Tampa’s D being bad- Miamis is worse and they had practice squad guys at CB last week. I think shavers is our best WR. That’s not really a compliment toward him but more of a complaint about the whole group. either way Shavers and Gabe >>>>>>>>>> Coleman Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The problem is we still need " Swann" opposite him. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I did not have on my TBD bingo card the Shavers comp to hall of famer John Stallworth! 2 Quote

They can sign him to the 53 if a team tries to sign him. Davis will most certainly want to stay. Edited 3 hours ago by MJS Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Tyrell Shavers reminds you of a Hall of Famer? That wasn’t on my bingo card. Edited 3 hours ago by Kirby Jackson 2 Quote

zow2 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago They should start targeting him more, obviously. I'm not sure in prior games why he was he forgotten man. His adjustments to help out Allen when the pocket was breaking down were very professional. He found open space, hustled and made himself available. That's all we ask. Quote
Buffalo03 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I am excited to see if he can turn into something. It would be pretty cool Quote

I just don’t think it’s the Bills style to rely on a vet like Davis on a PS capacity exclusively. Much like Poyer, once they decide on hanging onto Gabe, he will be signed rather quickly. Quote

Thursday will be 1. So after next week Sunday, they will have to sign him. Unless a team comes along and wants him. Then they will have to sign him sooner. Also doing that could end up making it a contract bigger than they were going to pay. Edited 2 hours ago by Scott7975 Quote

Is Beane ballsy enough to cut Keon for him? Probably not. I disagree about straight up cutting Keon at this point. And no, I don't hold out much hope he improves. But where we are right now, Shakir is banged up for the second time this year. Kincaid is missing games for the second time this year. That's a lot of slot snaps that are in flux. I would hold onto Keon. Who knows, maybe he puts it together. But, we will potentially need someone to soak up some slot snaps at some point this year. I would hang onto him (they are paying him anyway) and see if we can squeeze something out of him at the slot. And if there are more behavioral issues we don't know about and they really want to move on from him after the year, it would potentially be better for his trade value if we can coax some good slot reps out of him. 1 Quote

I have been a big supporter of Shavers going back to last year. After last season I predicted he would challenge for a roster spot. I was laughed at. But as a main roster guy he's reminded me more of Isiah Hodgins. He will see a high percentage of special teams snaps. He will see a few offensive snaps. He can make a splash play here and there. But he doesn't need to be featured by any means. Quote
BVBILLS Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It would be cool to see someone new step up this time of year Quote

I do remember reading he was highly recruited but looking at his highlights and it's extremely similar to Stallworth. I know it's a lofty comparison but yesterday was different. Idk I'm probably wrong but I think there's definitely something there. His confidence is obvious. He's got that long lanky stride like Stallworth to get deep, but he's quick enough in short areas to create all kinds of problems for dbs. I'm excited Go bills! In some ways it blows my mind that a guy that has 1 worked as hard as he has to stay on the team and proven that he can help isn't included more in any part of the offense especially in the red zone given his size ! I feel if what has been put forth about Keon give that roster spot to Shavers and (Pun intended) let him run with it I think he could be a much better option in the passing game and quite possibly a player that could be more depended upon for results when targeted . Gabe and Shavers definitely helped the O I just hope Brady continues to dial them up because Moore & Coleman just haven't shown much more than flashes & they need more consistency going forward !
