Maybe not - Carolina QB Bryce Young had gaudy numbers - beat a team [Atlanta] we lost to.

31x45 448 yds 3 passing TD's 0 picks

Even if Young was in the AFC, 6 TDs to 3TDs is too big of a difference for Young's yards to trump Allen's game. Yards dont win games, TD's do.

He's played like 5 games so it's a bit hard to judge .

2019-2024 he inarguably he was  top 5, so I'm not gonna say he's not top 5 anymore just based on like 5 games this year as that would be  a pretty big panic haha

Top 10. Not top 5.

Fix the run d and this defense would probably be ok. But man, that run defense is sketch

Don't get me wrong The Bills Dub makes me happy. The run defense today though was very sketchy.

Im a solutions gal. How to fix that is a valid question.

Let me get this straight. To be a good fan, I have to be apocalyptic after losses, but I also have to be miserable after wins?

Im happy but concerned which IMO is a rational take after what we saw today on D

They don’t have the players without overcommitting the secondary, and that opens them up to big passing plays which McD will absolutely not allow. So I think we’re just going to have to live with it until next season.

Two MvPs and one runner mvp in a 6 year stretch and he's not a top 5 QB?? Good lord sir haha

He deserved .5 of the MVP when he won it. The league was weak at that time.

The first years he was in the league other QBs won more. And recently as well.

We won't agree at all anyway. Agree to disagree. I just don't like losers like lamar

If he’s hurt hes hurt. But no matter how you slice it he’s been horrible. And he’s killing us. Get him on IR. We don’t need to have feel goods for playing hurt. The thing that hurts the most is our own defense when he’s on the field. We need Thompson back

Bernard is a train wreck. Milano is plain washed. Taron also hasn’t been good.

i am at the point where I would like to see Shaq, Dorian, and Cam Lewis as the starting LB/nickel base.

The coaches knew it too and couldn't stop the run today. Oliver and Shaq Thompson should help shore that up but outside contain is a problem too

Can we talk about Cole Bishop? Another massive, game changing play. Credit to the staff for sticking with him, fun to watch

Bishop also made a heads up play to deny the Bucs a 2 point conversion.

Was this enough for Josh to be named AFC offensive player of the week?

Looking at the box scores today it was a really bad day for QB's.  Jackson had 2 picks and Darnold had 4! As of today Allen is AFC offensive player of the week and it's not close.

Tarron Johnson sucks. And it’s a double whammy because this buffoon calling the defense is obsessed with him. So our run defense also sucks because this guy can’t take 7 off the field. Move him to safety or move him to the waiver wire

My theory is that Allen’s so good, and has been for so long, that a bad play gives internet warriors the chance to demonstrate what informed, unbiased, observers they are.  In other words, Allen’s unique excellence gives some the chance to astutely grasp the obvious in self aggrandizing way.  It’s a claim against an argument nobody makes.

”Allen makes mistakes and I am creating straw men who say he doesn't make mistakes in order to show how smart i am.”

100% this and it drives me crazy.  Does Allen miss throws, yes.  Does Allen throw bad picks, yes.  Does Allen miss open receivers, yes.  But so does every other QB.  And most of those can't touch Allen when he explodes like today.

Edwards was awful today and Dion also seems a little off the last couple weeks.

Maybe they're both broken
