I wish I knew why we seem to miss on so many high round picks.  Bad scouting?  Are we just guessing wrong?

Beane actually had a good track record going of not selecting total busts with his 1st pick. Allen, Edmunds, Oliver, Diggs (trade, but still), Rousseau. You can debate the value of some of those players but none of them were busts. Kincaid is in the same category. Unfortunately he seems to have selected 2 busts out of his last 3 and that is going to really set back any rebuild plan.

Id argue his work in later rounds offsets those misses tho, we draft very well imo

Also he is an effort player.  At this point,  that alone is an improvement over Coleman.

FYI,  and this should come as no surprise,  I heard earlier this week that they’re done with Coleman.

You've had inside stuff before.

I had heard stuff in the off-season about keon not being available to go work with Josh when others would.

What a bummer. There was so much positive hype about Coleman from training camp through the first couple of games. It really looked like the light bulb had been lit. Oh well.

Why do we always doubt sources? FWIW, it’s not that complicated. There are LOTS of people that have that information. Why is it so hard for some to believe, in a city this size, that people would have that info? 🤣🤣

I promise, in 2025, it’s not that uncommon for people to have sources. This holds especially true for a business that’s entire job is to cover the Bills. 🤣🤣 Let’s stop with the question the messenger nonsense. If they didn’t know it to be true they wouldn’t put it out there. It would damage their credibility and ultimately, their money. They aren’t going to do that.

But it's amazing how much, especially just 5 years ago, these same journalists put a lid on things or covered for inside info. The players only meeting, Whaley's bar fight and harassment, the Ryan's alcoholism. ...

Lol, this is where I’m skeptical. Who was driving the “Keon has taken a step narrative?” The day I was at camp he did look good but he was opposite Tre White. 🤦🏻‍♂️ The Bills have/had a lot riding on Keon being good. It feels totally reasonable that they were the ones pushing the agenda.

Great point.

Hes got 6 out of 8 first rounders somewhat right if you include the promise of Hairston. (Keon was a first round pick.. 33)

Day 2 picks? Harrison Phillips, AJE, Spencer Brown, James Cook, Bernard, Torrence, Dorian Williams, Cole Bishop, Knox and Devin Singletary makes 10 out of 17 guys who have either produced decent seasons or are quality starters for us. Technically 15 cause the jury is still out on Sanders and Jackson from this past draft.

Im on the side of the fence that the drafting isn’t as bad as we want to believe. It’s just like you alluded to in the second paragraph… the busts we have had were of positions we were dependent on when they were drafted or shortly after.

Lol, Whaley got arrested the night before the Bills game in New Orleans in 2013 or whatever that was.

If the Cowboys head coach, whoever that be... If Andy Reid.... If Brian Dabol... Were getting piss-ass drunk with their brother until 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning game day then it would be national... But in Buffalo... No one said a peep.

My 2¢

I wasn't sure about the Coleman pick when it happened. Personally I thought the yellow Macy's jacket was kind of cringe worthy.

BUT! He was the Bills pick, I saw videos how hard he was working, wanting to succeed for Bills fans, maybe it wasn't meant to be.

End of the day... an expression I hate. Bring in, sign whoever to get the Buffalo fans a trophy..

Yes exactly

Breaking news/having sources I have no problem believing guys like Cover1. I question a lot of what they put out in their analysis because it invariably puts the FO in the best possible light

The Bills aren’t nearly as tight lipped as people seem to think. 🤣🤣 I’m referring specifically to Cover 1. Of course they have sources. It would be insane to think that they don’t. There are literally hundreds of people now that know who the Bills will activate tomorrow. You have the entire roster, coaches, personnel, medical staff, their families, their friends, etc… There are people on this message board that 100% know. It’ll come out tomorrow and we can start applying common sense to these reports. Cover 1 specifically, has to be right. That’s their livelihood.

Funny you should mention that. Bc they said Gabe wouldn't be playing just yesterday.

That said, I wasn't referring to them. I was referring to random TSW posters (and random Twitter accounts) who claim to have "sources". *Way* more likely than not, that info isn't worth the bandwidth used to make the post.

Please elaborate as you can.  I am done with him as well lol

At this point in the season you have to put the players on the field that give you the best chance to win.

That said I do believe JB and 17 need to take some accountability besides KC's lack of effort.

The Bills have not been able to scheme for any receiver getting open in the second level- as mentioned by Greg Cosell so eloquently on Friday's OBL show.

17 has also not given him the best throws for him to catch.   Jump ball is not a high percentage pass play.

Do you REALLY think Pegula is going to fire Beane at the end of the season?  LOL

I don’t think he is ever going to fire Beane, McDermott or Kevyn Adams.  They are all made men, actual results don’t matter.

If things continue like they have this season. Yes, Yes I do. And, Mcdermott will play a role in it.

If they fire him, they’ll bring him back as an assistant GM in 2 years. But he’ll have to sit and watch for a while.

Said it was a shiz pick on draft night. THIS has been my major frustration as a Bills fan: watching them make stupid decisions and KNOWING they are bad decisions in real time. It’s maddening.

I wanted Xavier Worthy at that pick or Ladd McConkey in a trade down.

But no, McBeane is smarter than everyone else because he got LUCKY passing on Mahomes (stupid) and lucking into Allen.
