Hamstrings don't usually clear up quickly. Bills play on TNF after Tampa, so there is probably a good chance he misses the next two games minimum.

The Bills will be in a tough spot with him in the off-season. He is the only real threat we have in the passing game more then 5 yards down field, but he can't stay healthy. And when he is healthy he plays 50% of the snaps. Knox is also getting cut, so you can't really afford to trade him.

I’d honestly look to trade him.

We can’t keep doing this.  Building a team around small/soft for the position, oft-injured players.

He has elite receiving talent at the position but can’t block to the level we want him to so he’s a complete tell when he’s on the field.

And that’s when he’s healthy as he’s hurt every other game and when we decide to use him.

A luxury for a team that can’t really afford luxuries.

Him and Oliver are pretty much the epitome of the players Beane targets.  High skill, oft injured, undersized.  It's objectively a failed draft philosophy.

Is he really that undersized?  He is 6'4" and 240lbs.  That is about the same size as Brock Bowers, George Kittle, Sam LaPorta, Trey McBride, and David Njoku.  Pass catching TEs mostly seem to fall in the 240s.  Of course, he is not as big as Kelce or Hock.

Also, it is not like his size is what caused his hamstring injury.

I'm frustrated with the game and with the injury too, but that's because Kincaid is good.

He's injured a lot.  maybe undersized is the wrong word then.  How about fragile?

I have held back on this fairly well but I will never forgive this pick. He is a good TE and he adds talent to this team. He gets banged up easily and isn't available when we need him.

Beyond that he was a wasted pick. We moved up to get him when we had Knox and had other opportunities to get a TE. We needed more than a TE at the time.

Trading up for him was a mistake. Drafting him was a mistake. If we needed weapons for Allen, which we clearly needed and knew we did, we should have went further up to get a WR for the future. Zay Flowers or JSN weren't that far out of reach. Even Quentin Jefferson was a reasonable target.

Tight Ends aren't legitimate pass catchers.

Drafting Kincaid was a luxury pick this team could not afford. It will forever be a mistake even if he makes the HOF.

All of these injuries are just going to be the built-in excuse the coaching staff and front office need to run it all back again next year.

Yep.  McDermott was already whining about the injuries before the dolphins game.

My solution would be to transition Kincaid to WR during the off-season. Put on some muscle mass and drop his weight about 10 pounds. Creates some match up advantages against most corners. There's your 50/50 ball guy. Not blazing fast but neither are productive receivers like Puka Nucua. That puts Knox on the field for more plays and makes Coleman expendable if he doesn't produce. Then go get a genuine #1 WR.

Id be surprised if he is back before Christmas.

Hamstrings are the worst.  Come back a hair too soon and you pop it and return right back to square one.  There is no real remedy for it other than not running full speed for as long as you can.

He won't be back until 2 or 3 weeks after he's probably good to go. Probably a knee jerk reaction on my part. I have a feeling we keep players out longer than needed. Maybe well get Palmer back by new years too.

Let's not count on seeing him again any time soon.  Him, Oliver, Milano, Palmer, etc etc etc.  It seems like any minor injury on this team turns into months long lingering problems. Whatever, let the guy sit and call up Gabe Davis.  We have by far the worst WR room in the league, a direct indictment on Beane, again.

I've got an idea that the players are dragging their own injuries out bc McD has lost the team and they want to make graceful exits in the offseason without career threatening injuries.  It's written all over Allen's face.

Piffle.  Let's just call up Kelvin Benjamin.  He'll save us!

(I am not dogging your proposed solution.  I just figured it was time to trot out another 'legend of the game'.  Pretty soon the Bills will need the Legend of the Game player to actually suit up for the scheduled game.)

Bills are going broke buying exercise bikes from Pacillos.

I would suggest you have your discussion about tight ends with the following:

Kelce

Gonzalez

Gstes

Sharpe

Mackey

Casper

Just to start

Well since Beane drafted Oliver, Bernard, Benford and Milano abd paid them all it’s safe to say Kincaid is in for a nice payday

And how many didn't make the hof or an impact?  How many other needs did this team have that were more important?

Cmon this is a bad argument you're not good at lol

Seriously. Flabbergasted.

To defend your logic here it's simply taking every other player to exist that was dragged and amazing or HOF. Lol

If they get Palmer back it should help. If there is no Palmer and no Kincaid it will probably look like the Atlanta game again.
