McD famously hated Daboll’s bombs away offense. There is no evidence that this isn’t the exact offense McD wants. I reject the notion he is a helpless bystander when Beane brings in garbage skill position players. McD AND Beane have found it acceptable to dumpster dive for WR talent. And that’s BOTH of their faults. So fire them both. They aren’t even that good. Their offensive gameplan this offseason was “Josh, go be MVP again.” A monkey could do that. And somehow this is fact, huh? Because you think an NFL head coach wants to provide his franchise QB with dumpster dive WR types? Nothing wrong with wanting more "balance", semblance of a run game. Problem isnt that we went dumpster diving, thats a clueless post....here i what we invested: FA: Palmer (almosy $10m AAV per yr), Samuel ($8m aav per yr), Moore $5m. Then factor in the Knox deal. Draft: 1st round- Kincaid, 2nd round (though our 1st rd Pick essentially)- Keon So we invested our top 2 picks, in two of past 3 drafts and some WR #3 capital in Palmer/Samuel/Shakir. Yeah id say thats putting some solid effort into it, and not dumpster diving. Its called poor drafting- Kincaid is never consistent/healthy, and Keon is a must. Then if thats not enough, our top FA acquisitions in Palmer and Samuel are looking terrible. Compare that to: 2 WR #3 FAs: Brown and Beas 1 1st round pick: Trade for Diggs Beane went 3 for 3, now hes gone maybe 1 for 4 at best. That in summary, is why our offense sucks right now...you cant go 1 of 4 and expect to stay relevant each year Quote

It really is quite remarkable that they look at Josh Allen and say OH YES Tight End passing attack that's the way to max out this supreme talent 1 1 Quote
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We are not winning a SB with this WR group anyway. Not one person on offense demands a double team. Quote
stlbills13 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The fact that there is a worse loss than this says a lot 1 Quote

Blame Beane for this roster of Wrs. This isn’t a McD issue imo. McD is at fault, especially when a team comes out flat and disinterested. There was no fire there today. 1 Quote

They want big slows at WR run blocking. They want a strong running game, even when it’s strategically outrageous (the 2015 Panthers were paying TWO running backs lol) And they want a strong defense (but our defense sucks in the biggest spots). That team famously went 15-1 when Cam could sustain superhero level play for a season. And was kinda meh every other single season. But it’s Beano and McD’s dream roster. 1 1 Quote

Starting to think you’re right, but they won’t run Josh this season when Cam did that 100 times a game Quote
Jimmy Harris 69 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Embarrassing performance on both sides of the ball. Though the defense caused some turnovers early; two fumbles and a red zone pick doomed the team. Allen and Cook, our only two stars, failed us. Joe Brady still cannot call a play for a successful two point conversion or a pro passing game. Our passing game was garbage. 1 Quote

Moore wasn’t even on a roster in June lol. Giving him $5M is a joke. That’s not “solid effort” Quote

Conviently, you failed to comment on my most important point: Nobody, myself included, complained about the skills players in 2020-2022. Somehow we have "invested" the same, as my post noted, and you think we are dumpster diving now? Its called poor decision making/player evaluations by Beane and his staff. McD isnt out scouting all season man, cmon be better than that. Beane and his staff are responsible for deciding which guys to focus on. McD says we need to prioritize DL and secondary. Its that simple...not a complex process, thats called coach/gm alignment. Beane missed on 4 key opportunities to improve this offense- easy/done. 1 Quote
Virgil Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago In the regular season, it’s up there with the London game and Urban Meyer loss. I was at all three games. Yes, I’m the problem 1 Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago NOPE. It was 13 seconds. Then the playoff game where the Bengals eliminated us. Then the AFC title game loss vs. Chiefs last season. This regular season game wasn't his worst. 1 Quote
billsfan_34 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This loss is right up there at the top. The team was woefully unprepared and absolutely flat. They were sloppy and undisciplined. Receiver can’t get separation or find the sweet spots. Quote
