And also think Lane Kiffin would be amazing with Josh now that Lane is older and a little more mature ha ha I respect your opinion and would take that option over McDermott next year, personally though I'm not big on hiring a college coach. Very different jobs IMO. It's been a long time since that worked out for an NFL franchise. 1 Quote

Also, it’s been stated numerous times by Beane that as Josh fell down the qb contract rankings, he would playfully make it known to Beane. My point is we are taking a franchise QB hit no matter what. The problem isn't because we have a franchise QB hit. The problem is you can't have a franchise QB hit with poor roster design and half a dozen players absorbing far more cap than market value. Again, it's on Beane. 2 2 1 Quote

Wish we could go back in time and grab Harbaugh 1 Quote
Success Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Sports is so weird. You wait a lifetime for an era like this, w/ a QB like Allen - and it still doesn't even amount to a SB appearance. It's crazy. Being a sports fan is defined by disappointment & heartache, for the most part. 2 1 Quote

But they aren’t done as long as Allen is here. Allen has a much different demeanor than years past. Typically, I would agree with your premise but he cannot run routes at the same time. Quote

PayDaBill$ Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago So how many more games do we drop to close out the regular season? I’ve looked and I am thinking we may not see the playoffs. 1 Quote
QLBillsFan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Unfortunately Pegs has a very long leash on GM’s under his ownership.. if you extrapolate his patience on the Sabres I suspect McBeane get about 20-25 more years 🤷🏻♂️ Edited 2 hours ago by QLBillsFan 1 1 Quote
May Day 10 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They have succeeded in making their offense completely 1-dimensional. That, along with their typical undersized defense can get them leveraged pretty easily now, especially against a good RB. With Kincaid out now likely several weeks, their only consistent downfield passing threat, this could get pretty bad. Quote
Fleezoid Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Historically, I'd watch the Sabres to make me feel better about the Bills. Then I'd watch the Bills to make me feel better about the bills. Now, I have to sit in my car in the garage with the engine running and door closed to feel better. (And no, I'm not suicidal, so don't call the authorities. Just don't worry......I have booze) Quote

BuffaloBaumer Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s a shame, it sucks but hopefully playoff runs continue next year after they see the flaws. Quote

But the bad contracts and late/missed draft picks have caught up to us. I personally think believing that Josh was ssooo good that we could plug anyone in at reciever and we could make it work was the biggest mistake. Funny thing is - all the eye rolls and thumbs down emojis. You are 100% correct. The fact that Josh has not EVEN BEEN IN THE SB proves your point. NE, Miami, and even maybe the Jets with a QB are/have caught up. We need a new GM and HC. 2 1 Quote
