some of the dumbest ***** ive ever read lol

allen was the only guy who came to play today, it's his cross to bear that fans who don't know ball only see the mistakes and not the 1 of 1 stuff it took to get in those positions

To be fair Curtis Samuel was wide open on that one 3rd and long play. Only took him 15 seconds to separate

Couldn't disagree more with this mindset. Look at what Klint Kubiak is doing in Seattle. I am not going to accept another offseason of "it could be worse." It really couldn't be!! 6 points in the part of the game that mattered against an awful Miami defense, with Josh Allen at QB. Anything is an improvement at this point and we'll have our pick of the litter.

As long as you own it if the name you like ends up being the wrong guy I’m all for it if you’ve got a name you like.

You’re not guaranteed to get the one decent name that’s available just because you fired your coach either keep in mind.  If the defense is as bad as people are thinking it is kubiak might look somewhere else with a better cap situation to turn over the roster then you get stuck with a McCarthy or kliff Kingsbury type

Are we still the Super Bowl favorites?

I hope this is a joke lol first off. No we weren't. Secondly, wait till tmrw. Great teams can be forgiven for a goose egg here and there.... weve burned through those, and have looked bad vs bad teams, that weve beat several times.

Ill be shocked if we are in top 6 or 7 teams tmrw... and even then we'll only be there because the league has been the worst top end talent I can remember since... I dont even remember

His ability to get away from the pass rush has been significantly less this year.  That part is very clear.  The one time he did it today, he looked absolutely gassed for the rest of the drive.  The question is whether Josh has truly lost a step physically, or if our inability to get the ball downfield is also allowing teams to keep QB spies closer to the line of scrimmage, taking away that part of his game.

Either way, the fact is that Josh Allen CANNOT be Superman forever.  We all knew this years ago.  The player he's been most compared to (Cam Newton) started regressing around 29-30 years old.  The others (John Elway and Ben Roethlisberger) were forced to transition into being less mobile as their careers went into their early 30s.

Indeed.

Josh's years as Superman are behind him and if he's going to have a fruitful career into his 30s, he needs skilled position players who can make plays.

His prime is over but that doesn't mean he's not a great QB anymore - unless Beane and McD neuter the rest of his career in Buffalo with terrible WR play.

My names last year were Vrabel and Johnson, in that order. I feel pretty good about those call outs right now.

Next year it's Klint Kubiak at #1 for me. I've previously said I'd prefer a retread who doesn't have to learn on the job but Kubiak seems like the next Sean McVay-esque wunderkind. I'd also take Stefanski if he's fired and there's even a couple defensive minded retreads I'd take, hopefully with the right OC.

I dont disagree that the coaching prospects are worse this year than they were a few years ago (with Harbaugh, Payton, and Vrabel available).

But I do disagree that we cant make a change. (Terry WONT, but we still could and should)

I like Kubiak too.

Gotta be an Offensive HC and an old, "former HC" DC. Seems to be the formula for success.

A lot of NFL fans and pundits have been skeptical about the Bills.  I hate that they are right, and I don't want to go to work tomorrow because I'll have my boston and miami teams breaking my balls

this is the offense they want

the lack of talented pass catchers is not an accident

I honestly think Beane and McD believed Josh could continue to work miracles with the group they put around him orake up for it by focusing on the defense.

It has been a spectacular failure of team building.

He's going to be a head coach next year for sure. Would he rather get his shot in Miami starting over from scratch, or get his shot with Josh Allen and a team that just needs some tweaking? It's a no brainer for both sides, all we have to do is give him his headset.

Brady never won a SB when they had Moss and Welker. When they were winning SBs, the Pats had guys like Deion Branch, Troy Brown and Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan.

But they had great coaching to go along with it.

Not to say we couldnt use better WRs, or that it isnt a factor. But winning without them has been done before.

Brady was statistically unimpressive in the playoffs in their first dynasty run. That team was all about an elite defense and playing small ball.

On the Pats second run, they had possibly the GOAT tight end, so I don’t think you can really say they didn’t have good pass catchers considering that.

Cuz Vrable was a great playoff coach in Tennessee?

For real with this? He dragged Ryan Tannehill and a dumb GM to an AFCCG and in a separate year to a #1 seed. That's much much more impressive than anything McDermott has done with Josh Allen. I'm shocked anybody on here is still trying to downplay Vrabel's head coaching acumen. He was the obvious hire for us to make last year but we didn't pull the trigger. Can't afford to make a similar mistake this coming offseason. Allen's career is dwindling away.

I hate the Brady comparison. He's the exception to almost every rule.

Troy Brown is a college football Hall of Famer and made a Pro Bowl when not everyone was a Pro Bowler. He was huge for them in the first part of Bradys career. We have Curtis Samuel
