Simon Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago We've seen a lot of snarling and kvetching about Mahomes tendency to flirt with the sideline and mess with defenders to buy time or space. He messed with it it again today and Epenesa almost murdered him for it. I'm wondering if the only reason he didn't get flagged was because stripes are well aware of the issue and don't care for it either. 11 1 4 21 5 Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Someone else got hammered while still in bounds dancing their way to the sideline earlier today too I’m tryin to remember who it was 😂 Bryce young I think refs threw the flag then picked it up in that other game I’m pretty sure Edited 8 hours ago by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 Quote

gtw3 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Good, clean, hard hit. Epenesa didn't let up on the play, which is what so many people do in that scenario for fear of the flag. 1 Quote

I'm convinced the only reason he didn't get flagged was because stripes are well aware of the issue and don't care for it either. AJE also basically slammed him down once, landing on his shoulder with all his weight. I thought that would be a possible separated shoulder and a roughing call for sure. Quote
RiotAct Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago enjoyed it immensely, as well as the times we put him on his arse while in the pocket!!! 1 Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I was really surprised we didnt get a single roughing call the way AJ and Bosa were slamming and driving him into the ground. Loved every second of it. 3 7 1 Quote

0017 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Honestly I wish there was more of this! QBs get away with too much these days! Quote

My mouth while the ball was in the air on the sideline one: Hohohoho, that's gotta be a flag My mind while the ball was in the air on the sideline one: <that might have been one of those that was a bargain for just 15 yards> 1 Quote

Remember when the NFL tried to make landing on QBs with your body weight a personal foul after Rodgers broke his collar bone for a few seasons and then just kinda forgot they did that and stopped calling it? 2 Quote

chris heff Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Not sure where I heard it or read it, but I think there was some discussion with officials about Mahomes looking for roughing penalties along the sideline. It did need to stop. I think AJ may have accomplished that. Quote

I mean I'm pretty sure the bills got called for that last year at a spot You still can't land full body weight Even in that aj hit on the sidelines you can see that aj was coached very well.. and is getting his body weight off of Patrick before the full slam You could easily stay helmet to chest and end his night if aj wanted to be more violent That's as well coached inside the hitting zone as you will see Edited 7 hours ago by Buffalo716 2 1 Quote

I didn't notice this til seeing this replay but I love the fact that Hancock's unconscious instinct is to push Bosa into Mahomes so he gets a piece too. Quote
BRH Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Patty hasn’t had to make a business decision in a while. I think that might be about to change. Josh got hit way harder against the Lions last year if I recall, without a flag…and he completed the pass. 1 Quote

Then he got up and immediately dropped one in a shoebox for 25 down the sideline. I hope the time he's about to spend in and out of a cold-assed tub starts making that body skittish on weekends. 1 Quote

He spent some time in the offseason transforming his body from a sinker to a floater... Quote
