Josh Allen completely outplayed Mahomes

I absolutely loved the throw to moore.  Can't wait to see the all 22.

 

I have been hoping Allen would take a couple of those throws down field even if they are incomplete...just throw it!

 

He finally did and it was great.

Allen has out played Mahomes in every matchup since 2021. Playoffs included.

Huge game, the team needed to win this game.   But as far as Allen Vs Mahomes, at this point the only thing that matters is playoffs and getting to Super Bowls and in that respect there is no comparison.  No one except Bills fans will talk about yeah but stats in the playoffs....

Josh was outstanding.  I was intrigued by the post-game interview with Wolfson.  He looked everywhere but at her answering questions, his affect was pretty flat.  Seemed kind of odd.

Allen usually plays his best against good teams in big games.  And he sometimes lets up against bad or mediocre opponents as if he feels that he has nothing to prove.  This was a big game.

If all that mattered was which QB played better, the Bills and Allen would have at least 3 Super Bowls.

 

Unfortunately, coaching and defense is a big part of football.

Incredible what he did today with basically Cook and a bunch of TEs.....  You could give him the MVP on that alone.  The WR production, or lack thereof, is absolutely embarrassing.  

 

He's the best in the world in my opinion, but what we are doing to him by forcing him to do it without any WR help is just so unfair to him.  And by us, I mean Beane.  It's on him to fix it, but I am not holding my breath.

I agree. Beane just lost two key defensive lineman. To him, that's a bigger priority than WR. I disagree. I think we can get by with the DL we have, but we absolutely need to add at least one quality WR; we really need two, but if he had a Waddle, he would get the team to the Super Bowl.

Unbelievable numbers Nd he looked totally-casual.   Like this was just any other day.   Great day by the OLine but Allen was home and enjoying the game.

Josh was excellent today.

 

In fairness to Mahomes, our pass rush was in his face all game. I would have said that our rush spread his cheeks today but Mahomes already said that.

He really wasn't forced to make any superhuman plays, which is a good thing.

Imagine being asked the same questions over and over again 18 straight weeks plus training camp.
