On a more serious note, while today is absolutely not the end of the season I think a loss today is likely a severe blow to our #1 seed hopes from earlier. CNYfan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Big game today. Defense needs to hold it close so JA17 and the offense can put sufficient points on the board. Big game, Go Bills!! 4 1
PromoTheRobot Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Let's hope the Sabres didn't use up all the winning mojo this weekend.

The Colts keep winning as do the Patriots, Broncos and Chargers I thought that was your ex I've always had the train of thought that the most important goal is the next goal. #1 seed would ultimately be great. But right now we need to win to keep pace with the Patriots. Can't get to the #1 seed if you don't win your division first. Ultimately the way things sit going into this week, we need this game to have the tiebreaker with the Chiefs for Wild Card seeding as neither us or the Chiefs lead our respective division. Who would have thought that would be the case at the beginning bof the year? Now through the course of the season, circumstances may change. But as of right now, this game has more implications for who makes the Wild Card than it does the #1 seed. 1

If we can beat the Chiefs, all these other teams don’t worry me. I still think the Colts are going to come back to earth with the schedule they still have ahead.
Ya Digg? Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 58 minutes ago, BlueRed said: You can tell the Bills think about the Chiefs all year round. I think they have a Chiefs specific playbook they’ll tap into today to make sure the offense is humming and converting TD’s instead of FG’s! I think the Bills pull out a win in a tight back-and-forth game! Honest question, but what have they shown at all that makes you think the Bills think about the Chiefs year round? I don’t hear the team talk about them unless asked, haven’t seen or heard anything from this week that said they were putting in extra time/effort. How do they show it? Or is it assumed because us fans obsess over the Chiefs year round?

Livinginthepast Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago We've played them so many times in the past few years but weirdly I feel the most uncertain about this game as I have for any previous one vs Mahomes. Anybody else just feel befuddled on how they feel we will do in this game? There seems to be way more variables than usual. 4

The loss to NE was both a shame and a big deal. So winnable and so important. 1
CSBill Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago HAPPY GAMEDAY TBD! The Chiefs come to town, and as Yogi said, "it's like déjà vu all over again." The Panthers' game seemed like a preseason controlled scrimmage, with the focus being, "Let's run the ball every which way we can against them, and how about we insert the real starters in on defense?" Today, it's the real game. It's been a rough patch in the season, but another Yogism seems appropriate here: "It ain't over 'til it's over." And like Yogi, my pregame prep today will be "a two-hour nap from 1 to 4." See you at 4:30. I think we do win today, but to keep perspective, even with a win, we will probably still trail the Patriots. Indeed, "The future ain't what it used to be." GO BILLS! 1
finn Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 2 hours ago, Pete said: Huge game- no matter how the Bills try and downplay it. its a must win game, and a statement game. Bills already lost to NE at home. Defend our turf! Bills D shows up huge today imo. Hoecht and Deone give me hope! Bills O and Joe Brady make me nervous. We need Josh to play like it’s the 4th quarter against the Ravens. We need to run Cook down all game. Let’s see lots of play action, 12 and 13 personal, and pass out of 12 and 13 personal. Joe- that’s how you get your average at best WRs to make plays- because they are not going to win against man to man. No simple minded generic game plans Joe. Step up and scheme WRs open like it’s your job, which it is. GO BILLS! Brady and Coleman both have to earn their pay today. In my view, Coleman's poor showing is mostly on Brady, who hasn't done anything with this offense, at least the passing. We're all down on the WRs, but Brady has the best QB in the league to work with, along with Cook and Kincaid, which ain't nothing. Have we seen any innovations, any creativity? Imagine what Shanahan or Reid would do with this offense. If Brady is going to show he's more than a chump, today is the day. I'm hoping the light will go on and he'll install plays for the personnel he actually has, including Coleman. Putting aside the Jets game (for obvious reasons), the offense hasn't played well all year, not for more than bursts here and there. That may be on Allen to a degree, but I put most of the blame on Brady. Let's see if today he finally shows why he should continue as coordinator. 2

Coleman can’t separate, run routes, or even show up on time. While I think Brady is average, the Coleman thing is on Beane.
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Offensively, we need the usual suspects to show up. Allen, Cook, Kincaid, Knox, and Shakir. I hope Chief Killer Gabe Davis gets a couple long targets as well. Turnovers need to be at a minimum. In a close game I think they will be the difference. Mahomes is definitely good for an interception. Offense needs to capitalize on it. Defensively, the Chiefs are going to get their points. We know that. I feel like if the Bills hold them under 25, they have a very good chance of winning. This unit is horrific against the run, if Pacheco gets going then it’s over. They need to keep KC as one dimensional as possible. Establishing an early lead will work wonders for the DEs. Bernard, Bosa will shine. I want to see a good follow up performance from Hoecht as well.
