Yeah, it’s not easy to throw even 50 yards with a regulation ball. Those who can were either pitchers or outfielders, or at least collegiate QBs.

Sacks are not considered in passer rating. So if, theoretically, maintaining a high passer rating was important to you, it would be better to eat a sack rather than throw it away or throw a contested pass.

 

 

So many college wide open players around the league. It just looks easy.

Why do we seem to never get anybody, ever, that wide open.  Other teams find ways to make it happen on the regular

Because those players like Justice Hill and Kolar are elite. It’s only ever a personnel issue and not a coaching X’s and O’s.

Would be better if the broadcast could do some analysis on why the plays break down versus doing fluff pieces on individual players.
