I'm genuinely surprised many people are saying this about a list including Raekwon Davis. He was a 2nd round pick for the Dolphins and was a chattered-about prospect and played in 80 NFL games, starting 48. Quote
RyanC883 Posted yesterday at 02:56 PM Posted yesterday at 02:56 PM I'd like Davis off that list. I'd also like Wilkenson. Both could be cheap, then get Olave. 1 Quote
BigAl2526 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Cincinnati's defense is so good this season, they can afford to release a quality player like Pennel? Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Bills bring back a guy, living in the past . Chiefs bring back a guy, oh god right in time for the Bills game 1 1 Quote

It's amazing that they just seem to be able to grab this guy when they need him most, not calling for a conspiracy. I truly hope the bills at least tried to call him. Chiefs defense is not the same as last year, they haven't gelled yet or something Edited 20 hours ago by boyst 1 Quote

I've watched some Bengals games he's literally a shell of himself he's nowhere near anything spectacular and his run stopping prowess is not anywhere close to the same either He's worse than Jordan Phillips Edited 20 hours ago by Buffalo716 3 Quote

I don't think you'd be an answer but I think he'd be a good rotation more so than random dude we just signed Quote

The issue on the Bengals defense is much larger. Being the 1 decent player in a sea of garbage makes it hard to make any kind of impact. We’ve seen players on the drought teams go elsewhere and thrive. Change of scenery maybe what is needed. Then again, I know nothing about this player. Quote

Starting X WR ? should we vote ? lol we could do both with a bit of wizardry Quote

The fact that the friggin' Raiders felt he was too much of a problem in their locker room and that they'd rather eat 35.2m in Dead Cap just to get him out of there speaks volumes. 1 Quote

But replacing Ed Oliver with guys like Pennel or Harrison Phillips is meh. They are guys who could be out of the rotation come playoff time. Calais Campbell is the ideal fit. Still a very impactful player. I just wonder if he has had the Bills on a list he won't play for because he's been that guy for years. Always available, really productive and priced right but never ends up here. I’ve been hoping we would sign Campbell the last few years. Seems to want to play for his home areas in his old age. From az, college in Miami. Nice climates. Can’t blame him. But he’d have no say in a trade. Get him if available Beane Quote

He has been playing for teams on his own terms for a while so I think it's possible that there have been discussions about potential mid-season trades at his last few stops. And he has the option not to report. And being traded it wouldn't be like the Anquan Boldin situation where he changed his mind after signing and accepting money from the Bills. They were well within reason in not just cutting him free(even if they probably misrepresented themselves as bringing him in to mentor Sammy). The juice of trying to hold Campbell's rights and prevent him from continuing his journeyman travels in the offseason wouldn't be worth much of a squeeze with the NFLPA, IMO. I suspect any deal for him would basically require him to sign off. That said though.......he is KILLING it on the field. He has been good against the run and the pass. I've seen him lining up in the old Joe Green "stunt 4-3" from the 1 tech and just cutting thru blockers. He might be a better pass rusher now than he was 5 years ago. 1 Quote
