I would not be at all surprised if BTJ is in fact on the block. If the Jags can find someone to grossly overpay they will pull the trigger, I mean why not. Shaheed has more yards and more TDs this year and has shown greater versatility (an important #1 characteristic), taking 40% of his snaps from the slot and being productive - something BTJ has so far been unable to do. I doubt that Rattler throws fewer hospital balls than Trevor.
As a rookie BTJ had a 1200 yard season but he was pretty much force fed the ball because they had little else. I don't know but opposing DCs may have figured out how to make adjustments that reduce his effectiveness.

Of course his rookie contract status is attractive but you pay for that and fundamentally you have to have a view, hopefully an accurate one, of the value you are getting for the price you are paying.

I believe BTJ got hurt Sunday…

He’d fit right into our WR room then

You mean our defense…

Isn't BTJ suffering from a wrist injury which is preventing him from catching passes to the best of his ability? Bit of a downside if so.

I don't know, and I have to admit that I haven't watched too many Jag games this year, so my perception could be skewed, but everytime I turned them on, it seems like they are crashing the guy across the middle.

I just realized the nfc east is the in season hard knocks this year which starts in December!   Watching the trade deadline stuff with the dopes in Dallas is going to be entertaining.

plus the giants meltdowns, Washington playing Daniels in a 38-7 game and him getting injured for the year…..meanwhile the eagles keep pushing the right buttons and play buffalo during the period.

He had a wrist injury earlier in the year, right now it's his shoulder.

Had a wrist injury, then dealing with a shoulder injury. He left Sunday's game with an ankle injury.

the problem with the facts being that discussions are happening…. You and I might never see. Or maybe we will.

im not in the bills-jags group text so I only see if the talks produce something

I once heard a GM (Dell Demps) say that only like 5-10% of the things discussed ever leak out (or some low number like that). Lol, I don’t remember the specifics but the point was there are always “feelers.” When you get to trade deadlines or drafts, they become more real because there is a natural “expiration date.”

The Bills are definitely engaged in discussions and BTJ isn’t the only one. Will any of it come to fruition? Who knows, but they’re on the phone.

Philips I could see. Vikes aren’t moving Addison

If the Vikes are moving Addison then there's something seriously wrong with Addison off field. Harrison Phillips would be a solid DT to add just to sort of eat snaps in rotation until Ed hopefully comes back and maybe Sanders.

Do you go all in while you have an MVP QB or keep the picks for tomorrow?

I know Maye is playing great (gross that I had to say that), but until he's a year in and year out performer, the 4 best QB's remain the same.

Allen

Mahomes

Lamar

Burrow.

Cincy is done, and the Ravens are on life support.  KC looks as beatable as ever and are currently at 5-4.

This is our best chance to secure the 1 seed, but we are missing that one piece, which is a WR with speed.

Go all in. The AFC is wide open this year. Every team in the conference has at least 2 losses so for the Bills at 6-2 the #1 seed is still very much in play. NE isn't playing a creampuff for a change by going to Tampa. I expect the Bills to blowout the Dolphins similar to the Carolina game and the Bucs to win. If that happens then the Bills are 7-2 with the Pats 7-3. That would put the Bills in control of the AFCE.

Just called the ticket office and asked if I could talk to Brandon Beane. They said no. So just know that I tried to do my part.

In fairness, he’s asleep

He must be in high level business meetings. Did you say you were worth millions?

yeah but he would be on a rookie deal for 2 more years after this and that wrist injury isn't going to last forever. Might be a chance to steal a really good player for less than what he is worth right now due to current bias and new coaching/front office staff only seeing this version of BTJ and not last years version in person.

I heard he has been trying to reach Buddy Nix for a clandestine meeting at the old Tempo, but his care giver said it was nap time for him...
