In years past, especially last year, I thought about the matchup all week. That stadium was electric last year when Josh took off on 4th down. It just feels like this game doesn’t really matter. Obviously it matters in terms of winning the division and potentially in terms of seeding. The reality is, the regular season is just kind of “there” now. It would be great to have the 1 seed. It would be great to win the division and host playoff games. It would be great if KC had to come here in the playoffs. At the end of the day, all that matters is what happens in January and, God willing, February. Maybe I’ve gotten spoiled or jaded but this just doesn’t get me all hyped like it used to. At this point, a Super Bowl Championship is the only thing that matters. The get right game against Carolina came at a good time. This defense with Hoecht and Hairston back looked totally different. They stuffed the run and sacked Dalton 7 times. I know KC is a different animal. But what is working will work against KC too. Pound tge Ball down their throat with Cook out of big personnel alignments. Extra tight ends and linemen. I think they can also get Kincaid and Shakir going in the intermediate passing game. If our Defense can disrupt Mahomeboys timing at home with the 12 th man being loud all game, we got a legit Shot. ps let’s Hope Josh gets up for this game and pulls his head out of his ass and remembers how good he is. 3 Quote

BearNorth Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Looking at the Chiefs snap counts from Monday night, they use 5 DB's about 80% of the time, And leveraging Chris Jones and his ability to dominate multiple blockers, they play a 3 man front on about 25% of their snaps. Of course this was against a Commanders team playing without their starting QB. Quote

I expect him to see a lot of snaps on offense. Would love us to really dominate on the ground this week. Impose their will. Gilliam and Hawes just pave the way for Cook. 3 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) The two key matchups: Chiefs WR against our secondary. Plus Buffalo rising pass rush versus beat up Chiefs oline. It's also got new wrinkles so may be hard to get on blockers. In some ways, even with Ed out the ingredients are there to make Mahomes uncomfortable ala the Superbowl. I do like the Bills chances on this one. Edited 2 hours ago by RichRiderBills 3 Quote

SCBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Very frustrating to see the difference between their high powered pass game and our struggling group right now is basically two choices… We signed Curtis Samuel / They signed Hollywood Brown. We drafted Keon Coleman / They drafted Xavier Worthy. Going to come down to our DL vs their OL. We’ve barely had Ed, won’t have him moving forward, but even with a makeshift group through 7 weeks, we’re an elite DL in QB pressures. I love our EDGE group and how versatile they are… that’s the group that needs to shine on Sunday. 1 Quote

They look solid but they've beaten Carolina, New Orleans, Cleveland, Miami, Tennessee and then us. I'm not ready to pencil them in for 14 wins quite yet. We've been in this same boat with Miami's hot starts back when the league had no idea to what to do with Tua/McDaniels and that offense was running roughshod on everyone. Remember Miami's 70 point game? Sustained success like that is rarely seen in the NFL once the league adjusts to your fastball. I’m not the one even bringing up the pats. In saying this game is huge. Another guy brought up the Pats. I think we will catch the pats. But I’m saying if we can beat KC we can bury them 1 Quote

In my strong opinion these coin flip personnel moves have nothing to do with KC having a better passing attack than the Bills. The difference is all about Andy Reid vs Joe Brady. 1 2 Quote

I think they are for real even "Danny Dimes" is having a good season. They are 7-1 and have a solid team on both sides of the ball. 1 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If we can run the ball like last week against the Chiefs we are gonna be tough to deal with moving forward! Our D is coming together with the shot-in-the-arm we got last week. Can't wait to see Max cover Worthy! Hoecht and Bosa and Groot bashing in on Kermit! Quote

They've only beaten one "good" team, Detroit. Saquan Barkley led with the most ypg against them at 88, the Chiefs rank #11 at run D. Thats rich haha. KC fans complaining that there may be a game that's called fair or not in their favor. 1 1 Quote

We can have a debate about Xavier Worthy and would we even know how to use him, but Hollywood Brown is such an upgrade over Curtis Samuel.. who we can’t keep healthy (shocking) and also don’t know how to use .. so when I put it that way, yea.. you’re probably onto something with Brady. DapperCam Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It would be nice to just run over everybody on our schedule, but I do think we need to be mindful of Cook’s touches. This is the most touches per game he’s ever had and we’ll need him feeling fresh for the playoffs (assuming we make it). Quote

Sounds corny, but there may be a bit of win one for Jim [Irsay] vibe going on in Indy. They do have a tough schedule going forward, including two road games - at Pittsburgh - at KC - sandwiched around a trip to Berlin to play the Falcons. The rest of their schedule is Houston twice, Jax twice, @ Seattle and SFO at Home. 1 1 Quote
