When you scheme to get the QB in a rhythm, the idea is typically some high percentage pass in the short to medium area. Think some short crossers or short outs. Throwing a lower percentage pass deep down field is counter productive to what you're looking for You're right and that's bad grammar on my part, didn't mean it as a run on sentence when I mentioned the one or two shots down the field. Point was mostly to get KC defense to move a guy down to open some deep shot. 1 Quote

Against NE in the first half the D looked very stout with Milano in there. The Pats only got 2 FG's one of which was a gift from Coleman. When Milano went out NE's offense came to life a bit scoring 17 points. Milano may not be as good as Shaq against the run but he's much better against the pass. 2 1 Quote

Just need him to stay on the field is the main problem. Bernard too. This is our best "coverage" LB group and most agile --- having them ready to go is the biggest thing, and helps offset some of the concerns of losing Ed. Defending Kelce, the middle of field, and spying/containing Mahomes on scrambles. Mahomes does his most damage climbing the pocket and finding open receivers over the middle of the field --- we absolutely need Milano/Bernard/Taron to be on their "A-game" for this one. Dorian can fill in as the 3rd LB just fine, in base 4-3/run sets. 2 Quote

McD is well aware that forward passes beyond the line of scrimmage are, at best, questionably allowable, and furthermore violate the spirit of the game and should be eschewed in any gentlemanly game plan 1 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Sean McDermott just told Sal jones, palmer and Thompson are out for Sunday. Thompson was hurt in practice. Matt prater they think is going to be fine. Milano and Bernard will be full practice and should play. Sean said Gabe Davis looked good yesterday but will not practice today due to inflammation. We will see where he goes from there Edited 6 hours ago by MikePJ76 Quote

Don't forget that all of the blockers should immediately and consciously not block the nearest defenseman to them but at the end of the play to be standing in a blocking pose, ready for action I think I got spoiled watching the glory era bills run screens with Thurman. I don't feel like we've seen a legit successful RB screen in the McD era. I'm sure that can't possibly be true but still directionally accurate 1 Quote

Unfortunately we had Greggo as a head coach. Quote
GrimboG Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago besides those injuries for KC, McDermott has also confirmed Rapp is likely done for the season. He had knee surgery 2 days ago. I wonder if we'll see Safety help at the trade deadline? Quote

Shaq obviously re-aggravated/pulled that hamstring in practice Wed. Shaq wasn't seeing much playing time anyhow, unless Milano or Bernard went down. Dorian steps into the 3rd LB/base 4-3 role just fine. Quote
SCBills Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Oh boy.. I can’t wait until after the bye when we get healthy and some guys come back!
