we could use one but even when trubisky came in the few throws he made...  he had some completions.   both times josh had dump off passes 

he was off.   theres just a funk in  the passing game right now.

Hopefully Palmer is back next week I really think that’s hurting quite a bit and limiting options.  Atlanta game we had no Kincaid or Palmer for most of it

In fact when people hear were complaining for weeks and weeks I was the first one to have Brady and Josh Allen's back and say this is what they want 

 

But what made Josh's arm so special is that he could put the ball in spots other quarterbacks can't  And some of those throws are risky

 

 

 

If we rushed like that every week, we would be undefeated. Unfortunately their are good run fronts out there.

 

We still need another WR. This game changes nothing for me on the offensive side.

Joe burrow has tons of flashy toys but his organization can't keep him upright so it doesn't even matter

 

This is the same people that did bring in John Brown and Cole Beasley and diggs via pro personal... And gave Josh weapons... But he didn't really have a line 

 

Now he has a line and we don't have those elite weapons... So he's going to have to throw some people open.. he's going to have to be great in the pocket and outside the pocket consistently 

 

We all know he's a superstar but he's going to have to consistently play at a steady level which is what you do expect out of a future Hall of famer

True, but it was garbage time when Mitch was in.  Tough to compare the two.  Against teams like KC, having nobody the D has to respect on the outside is a problem.

Exactly. Its great that Cook is doing so well, but the offense needs to be 2 dimensional. More film and better teams and they will find a way to stop Cook. 2 yard passes do not compliment that.

garbage time for us.. not garbage time for carolina.   plus when Josh was in we were moslty running down their throat.

Line isn’t nearly as good as people give it credit for.

He seemed to be alternating series with Tre until he got to the limit of his predesignated snap count.

At least that's teh sense I got watching live.

IMO they could get rid of some of the overpaid role players and get a decent outside receiver still. They could fill 2 or 3 role players with some low end paid players and it wouldnt be that much difference. Take Samuel and Palmers contract, pick up a higher end guy, and fill those 2 spots with cheap guys.

He didn't have much of a chance honestly. He was good when he had opportunities, but they were running Hoecht at DT on passing downs and had a heavy rotation going all game.

I also wonder if they didn't hold him back a little bit later in the game when things were decided because they anticipate his snap counts about to go through the roof with Oliver out.
