Fact is, even with a down year, BTJ is still more of a “sure thing” than ALL of the draft eligible players that will be available come May2026.  No rookie has any nfl game experience.  BTJ had one dominant season, now he has a new coach and QB and isn’t doing as well.  
 

He is a safer bet than anyone in this upcoming draft

This whole thing is looking like a heaping slice of pie in the face for Beane. He went out of his way to chastise Jeremy white about receiver after the draft and here we are again. It’s not a great look at all for Brandon Beane.

I was working all day... But this morning my Nephew sent me the report that BTJ may be available and I just responded... Well... I know Bills Mafia is about to turn the heat up on Beane...lol...

 

Not that he cares... But of all the potential WR's to shake loose Thomas Jr. may very well get the strongest reaction amongst Bills fans... He's seemingly just what the doctor ordered, and I know a ton of Bills loyalists felt like he was the one that got away in that Draft. I think I remember comments like... "Trade up you coward..."

Our first rounder this year should be higher than what the Jags spent. And much lower than the cost would have been to move up for him last year.

If given the choice I’d keep Keon.   He’s so raw to the position that there’s still a chance it clicks for him.

Wouldn't be shipping them off if he was on that rung lol

 

Their Not a one an five team... They are right in the mix 

 

They're not trading away somebody they believe is good enough to help them win because they would keep him.. giving up in year two is absolutely the biggest red flag

 

He's literally on a cheap rookie deal for the next multiple years why would they want to give that up unless they think they're never going to get what they got out of him last year

 

And again the arrow is not always up in the NFL ... Just running to the jags and offering them a first round pick is probably exactly what they want which is to pull a fast one

Why are the Jags looking into moving on? They have a winning record and should be in the playoffs, he is not expensive and a good receiver, the whole situation seems like he is damaged goods, like he has beef with teammates or something.

Considering as I said Michael Clayton had a better career in LSU... Had a higher pedigree and was drafted earlier.. basically went for 1200 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie and never did anything again 

 

There's nothing that says Brian Thomas Jr is going to replicate what he did last year if the team that drafted him is giving up after a season and a quarter 

 

Maxwell hairston is going to be a stud.. Dalton Kincaid is very good... 

 

I'm not even the biggest beane Homer here but nothing says this guy is going to be a thousand yard receiver consistently because they wouldn't be putting him up 

 

He's too young and coming off too good a year something is seriously up
