And Parsons to Dane Belton? show me you know nothing about football without saying it. You know Belton is a hybrid LB/S not a rush edge guy right? Yall Bills fans are nutty. frostbitmic Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Seems that Christian Watson is available less often then Curtis Samuel, why pay for that ? Quote

I don't disagree. but the ceiling is much higher. His skill set when healthy is exactly what the Bills are missing. Greenbay thought highly enough of him to give him a 1yr 13mil extension. Quote

The Packers also keep drafting receivers high every year, they might be on to something there. When Watson came out I thought he'd be really good too, it hasn't worked out. If you traded for him and put him on IR until January I have my doubts he'd be able to finish the season. 1 Quote

Greenbay may be willing to trade. Question is can the bills affo extention similar to Shakir. Or can the Bills afford to Franchise him next yr. Defensively Dane Belton. Look what he is doing for the Giants. Always around the Ball. Big time tackler, ball hawk, high energy player. Also brings a ton to the special teams. Watson isn't getting top 10 WR money as Franchise tag not an option given his inability to stay healthy nor show he close to being an elite player at his position. Belton hasn't been great per PFF so he might be a tackler but not great in coverage. 1 Quote
BearNorth Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago When we had Thurman, he was a mismatch in the passing game for the LB's of his day. Can we draw up some plays where Cook is used in a similar fashion. Cook has impressed me with his ability to change direction in space, which should give defenses a lot to think about if we use him effectively. Quote
NoSaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 1 hour ago, dave mcbride said: Why would they ever trade him? They are gunning for a SB and he's a useful tool. Their current offensive production is a tick below last season's, and he's the sort of deep threat who can open things up underneath. Maybe he's still too injured to make that difference, but in that case the Bills should avoid him too. At this point, to save cash/cap and recoup draft capital post major trade for parsons Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He's missed: 3 games, 8 games, 2 games, 6 games (so far) in his 4 seasons. That almost a 5 game a season average. We already get that from Samuel. Quote

Maybe the Bills should investigate and study the type of players they are drafting. Maybe we can trade them Coleman for one of their scouts... 1 Quote

It's the same everywhere. I often listen to WFAN from NY & the NYC fans think the local teams should have every superstar either signing as a free agent or getting traded to a NYC team. Quote

We could trade for Christian Watson today and then he would sprain an ankle on the plane ride here and miss 6 weeks. Would good would that be? Quote

I gave up on this idea fully after the 2025 Draft where the Bills could have Drafted Dont'e Thornton anywhere before #108 overall to come in and do exactly that as a roll player and passed... I just do not think they are interested in adding that element to this Offense. Quote

I mean that was bad- but his effort on their multiple championship runs has been pretty good, no? Obviously was just kidding anyway. Basically my point was that if KC ever wants to trade with us again, we should demand something they'll never give up! Quote
