You are misconstruing the fascination, we are DESPARATE to add a go to, difference making receiver (and if you aren't, what are you smoking and can I please get some?). There aren't many options for those on rookie deals given our cap situation, Olave is one of the only possible fits. The obvious glaring problems at WR and S known before the season are still glaring problems and it's become quite apparent to even people who doubted that. So any sensible Bills fan is wondering if there are any potential options, and Olave is certainly intriguing, even with the concussion history. We can't keep wasting Allen's prime years like this. I love the idea of a sustainable contender (and nobody is saying we sacrifice the farm) but it's going to so hard to win a Super Bowl if it's entirely dependent on Allen playing perfect hero ball 4-5 games in a row, it's just not sustainable. We have to take a calculated risk somewhere.

Also, the Pats have a sneaky tough game this week. Playing Cleveland is no picnic. They get after you and can run the ball. This week could go a long way to restoring order in the AFCE.

wide 9 pass rush with young qb's facing the good enough defense to run it can cause a problem, especially when they turn the ball over and don't generate consistent runs.

 

i see the Browns as a game that the Patriots may struggle with and could lose but will be the first real litmus test for the rest of their season. the biggest will be Atlanta.

Better a concussion-prone receiver as your WR1 than one who can't get open, go deep, box out, or win jump balls.

My son has a game at 1:00 pm.  It will be done around 3:00 pm.  We will go home, shower and then head.

We should get there around 8:00 pm.

I really don’t disagree with you. I genuinely don’t have a lot of faith in this staff, either.   I think most people don’t. They’ve come up short too many times in the same fashion to not have us all on edge.  
 

I don’t know how the season is goo to pan out.  I don’t think many teams out side of maybe the Chiefs and Colts are looking super good in the AFC. And honestly, I don’t think the Chiefs look that good… I just think the league is going to make sure they’re hosting playoff games for whatever reason.    I just hope the Bills can catch a break and shock the world.

Yeah I was expecting something today. But it's still early and sometimes Beane after dark is a thing. 

 

The only other time I'll be expecting some kind of move is in trade deadline day. Let's see what happens. I have a bad feeling the next presser from Beane we see will include the words "Well, we were tight up against the cap so...."

I’m going to find a way to place a bet that there will be a penalty on the Bills within the first five plays on offense or defense….whichever unit is out there first.

In Chris Brown's interview with Dan Orlovsky today he said the Bills already had a practice on Monday.  Why haven't we heard any reports of participants or anything?

Stupid question…. Do they tailgate at other stadiums?  We are in a small parking lot about a 5 minute walk and looking at google maps of the stadium I’m not seeing anything. Should we just take some lawn chairs and hang out?

That's interesting because I saw that the Ravens had a practice yesterday and I was wondering why we didn't practice.

Very little news coming out of that operation.  I thought the coaches had some media obligations on Tuesdays of game week but maybe not today.  I suppose they are buckling down and preparing instead of talking.

Im hoping some changes made.

Like something big like Rapp and Coleman see the field less.

 

I honestly think Poyer plays more.  He’s old and slower but I think Rapp doesn’t do a thing.
