Brady needs a gameplan to get Cook the ball a minimum of 25 times combined rushing and receiving since he is the only playmaker that Josh has on offense. Enough of this everybody eats crap. Cook needs to "eat" the most if the Bills offense is to get out of this 2-game slump they are in.

I'm not sure if McD would put them in first week back if they have not practice for last six weeks.

Pretty sure they could practice after 4 weeks.

I might be in the minority, but if we have to ride an undersized back as a Jacobs/Saquon type workhorse because of GM induced deficiencies requiring such … I don’t want to hear it if he breaks down end of season or isn’t as effective when we need him in the Playoffs.

I'm looking for a reasonable deal as well. I will let you know if I see anything.

Yeah I have watched since the summer.  I needed three and the pickings are slim.  I pulled the trigger yesterday.  Upper deck corner row 7 for $300 after all fees.  Was clearly a good deal for three.  I wanted to wait but others were getting antsy.

Fair point but the Bills WR's are "meh". Kincaid looks like he is developing into a solid player if he can stay healthy. Shakir is a decent WR, but he shouldn't be WR 1. That's a problem as he is more suited as WR 2 at best or better off as a WR 3. Cook might break down from carrying a heavy work, but the Bills don't have any other options as far as difference makers go on that side of the ball.

Just some random scattered toughts...

Maybe Curtis Samuel will be available...I know it's a long shot, but he is good when on the field...

I actually think we win this one on convincing fashion...I am not hopeful we will win much in the playoffs unless some things change drastically on the D.

I think we lose to KC a week from Sunday...maybe we can then beat them in the playoffs to return the favor...Hairston locks down Worthy and Coleman figures out how to be more consistent...stranger things have happened...right?

With Josh Allen anything is possible...lol.

the way this one is supposed to play out is exactly that. the bills should be a lesser opponent by 10+. but the panthers beat the falcons 40-0 and that makes it all nonsense.

This bye week was needed for the fans just as much as the players. I am happy to not have to deal with the stress of Bills football.

i wish the Eagles/Bills played this last week it would have been must watch TV to see who wanted to finish squandering and choking their season away.

Carolina is a tough game for our D. They can run the ball and their O line is strong. They have some fast WR's so I tend to think Tre and benford will be in trouble as we gave witnessed this year already.

The Bills need to play disciplined on both sides. Stop the penalties!

If we are in the game in the 4th, Josh and the O might be able to pull this one out.

Gonna be a close one.

Panthers didn’t look great today. Might be our boy Dalton starting.

That running game of theirs is turning into a two headed monster…..the D better come prepared to stop the run because we are going to get an unhealthy doss of it.

get-right game for the Panthers coming up.

I'm already on record as saying we will beat the Panthers.  Handily.  I'm only replying to the people who seem worried about facing Dalton over Young.

Got it.  I’m not particularly worried either way

If the Bills can do a halfway decent job in stopping the run, then they will (SHOULD) win. If not, hello 4-3. I don't see the Panthers beating the Bills throwing the ball even though the secondary hasn't been good.

Agreed. And if I'm an opposing defense I'd load up the box and make the Bills beat me through the air.

A worry I see is Mitch Evans, rookie tight end out of Notre Dame currently ranks #1 among TE's in PFF. 6'5 260 so a BIG tight end. Considering we have the much maligned Rapp assigned to cover tight ends, looks like a mismatch.

Every game is a tough game for this defense except for the Jets.  Soft unit that can’t cover anybody and can’t stop the run.

I feel good about it.  McD has a perfect record the week post-bye and we get the two guys back from suspension

Happiness is the gap between expectations and reality.  The Bills are not winning the SB. The Bills will get stomped by a hot Carolina team.

Now I cannot be unhappy.😃

Okay, now we are entering must win territory. A loss this week likely puts us out of the playoffs based on current standings, and this is one of our easier remaining games.

I have absolutely zero faith or expectation that this staff figured anything out defensively over the bye.  I hope they might…but have been hoping that since Covid.

Anybody else feeling that way this morning?
