harryS Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Enough debating about how likely the Bills are going to turn this ship around. Get your predictions on the record! This is for bragging rights at the end of the season for those who predict correctly (or at least come very close). Poll will close before the kickoff of the next Bills' game against Carolina. Vote in the poll. Afterwards, a writeup of why you picked what you did is optional but encouraged. As a reminder. Here's the remaining schedule for the Bills. @Carolina Panthers Kansas City Chiefs @Miami Dolphins Tampa Bay Buccaneers @Houston Texans @Pittsburgh Steelers Cincinnati Bengals @New England Patriots @Cleveland Browns Philadelphia Eagles New York Jets Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 13-4. Bills largely right the ship coming out of the bye week and get on a couple winning streaks. Figuring they may lose to the Chiefs in there, among a few other potential roadblocks. But only go down in two of those games, and need to win in Week 18 to get the 1 seed. Quote
Peace Frog Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago 9-8. This team has serious issues, especially on defense. The only team we've truly 'beaten' with across the board decent play from all three phases is the lowly Jets. I feel like the Paytoilets exposed our offense and all other teams will follow suit by playing straight man coverage and make Josh beat the blitz. Hey, I would love nothing better than for JA17 to bring home the Lombardi, but it's gonna be a long season and short post season. 2 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) 10-7 and a wild card exit. My belief and enthusiasm levels have waned dramatically. Our defensive guru of a HC cannot coach a defence to stop a runny nose. Our OC has gone off the reservation with whacky trick plays and a penchant for keeping our second best player on the bench for too many plays. And our GM couldn't find an offensive weapon in a gun store. It's not happening this year and it won't until Terry Pegula finally wakes up and smells the coffee. . Doc Brown Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Based off recent history, I think they'll get to at least 11. If I were to put money on it it would be 12-5. Losses to the Chiefs, Texans, and Eagles. That's only if the injuries settle down a little bit which is a big if. Quote
GerstAusGosheim Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago They'll steal a game from the Eagles or Chiefs and lose 3 more to teams we all counted as wins before the season started. Defense is a mess. Quote
Pete Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I’m holding off the poll until Beane ***** does about our ***** wide receivers. If Beane doesn’t fix the offense, Buffalo will be lucky to make the playoffs as a wildcard. I was a big Beane fan but him ***** up the WR room is making me lose faith rapidly Quote
RobbRiddick Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I'm in full on Bills cynic mode now so if they turn it around I'll be pleasantly surprised, especially with the defense. Based on the last two games I think we lose to Chiefs, Dolphins, Bucs, texans, one of the steelers and bengals, pats, eagles. Sadly that amounts to a 9-8 record and no playoffs. This is worse case, if they pick it up they could easily finish 11-5 but I'll just expect the worse so I don't have a full on meltdown every week like so many people here do Quote
SC STATE NUPE Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) For the longest, I’ve always thought folks overreacted after losses. But that loss to the Falcons did something even to my always positive a__. I feel like 11 wins is the best possibility, but even that’s not enough to get to the Super Bowl. We’ll most certainly have to go through KC again in KC, and that’s another elimination. My gut is telling me 9-8. The Bills really should be 1-5. We’re not a good team, and I felt like Josh lost confidence last week. We have to stomp Carolina and beat the Chiefs by any means necessary to get my hopes back up… Edited 3 hours ago by SC STATE NUPE Quote

I was a big Beane fan but him ***** up the WR room is making me lose faith rapidly I’d only offer this; WR wasn’t our only need this past offseason. This happened to be a significant Defense Draft and many teams benefited from this fantastic anomaly, including us. I don’t think we anticipated NE* would pay a Kings ransom for ‘Fred Flintstone’ with a ‘take it or leave it’ immediate response. COOP retiring also shot down a possible reassessment of his contract and the probable Gold Star WR prospects were taken early. Very few of us, myself included, expected any improvement from Coleman and there’s been none. Blame Beane if you must. Certainly someone is to blame. I hold out hope Shavers can continue to progress. I view him as a diamond in the rough. But it is what it is. I fully expect a clear emphasis on WR this coming offseason. Quote
HOUSE Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Can we just beat crummy teams like Falcons and Patriots ?? Geeez this is embarrassing 😳 . Edited 1 hour ago by HOUSE 1 Quote
oldmanfan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I say 12-5. We lose to the Bengals, Bucs (sadly because I’ll be in town for that one), and the Eagles. They’ll get stuff straightened out over bye week. Quote
stlbills13 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I kind of feel like it all depends if the coaching staff makes adjustments in the bye week. Not just with playcalling but with personnel too. I genuinely believe Rapp and Tre need to be benched defensively. Offensively there's no reason for James Cook to see less than 60% of the snaps again barring a blowout. Even on special teams I'm not sure there's a reason for Codrington to be active again Quote

I meant 11-6. I see losses to the Eagles, Browns, Bucs and Chiefs. All teams with pretty stout defenses. That's a reflection on how I feel Joe Brady calls games against good defensive teams more than anything. 5 minutes ago, stlbills13 said: I kind of feel like it all depends if the coaching staff makes adjustments in the bye week. Even on special teams I'm not sure there's a reason for Codrington to be active again I'm with you except for the bolded. I don't even think Codrington should be rostered let alone active. And Rapp and Tre should see pine, but I don't know what we have on the active roster that isn't equal or worse. Cook, Id like to see less than 60% in the regular season... especially early in the season. Trouble there is we haven't had a RB show they deserve snaps outside of him. Ty has trended down and Ray Davis is doing a great Karlos Williams year two impression. Quote

This past year we returned our entire OL, even backups. We had 3 productive RBs. Was it too much to ask for great 1 WR? That’s all we needed on offense. Yes we had pressing needs on D. But just 1 ***** high pick on WR? In hindsight, we haven’t gotten any use from our first 3 picks. I believe Beane feels offense is all set, Josh will figure it out. That’s horseshit Quote
Big Turk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 13-4. This team wins 82% of their games after the bye since 2020 under McD and Allen. No reason to think that will change. Quote
