It’s that time of the year, when Beane realizes Josh needs better WRs, and makes a trade for a WR.  I expect a move the next week, if we are trying to win this year

Was Cooper done before he got here? Or was there still something in the tank? Either way we didnt get much out of him? Was that due to Brady's inability to use him or Cooper's somewhat detached attitude?

The ability was still there, the want to play football wasnt.   He was one year off a 1,000 yard season.

……you have doubts?

What Beane does between now and Nov 4 will tell me how serious Beane is about winning the Super Bowl.

Skilled WR is number 1 need IMO.  Beane should of stocked WR room with 5 quality WRs yesterday, I mean 5 years ago.

Safety is 2nd biggest need.  Get Rapp off the field now!

CB who can press is 3rd biggest need.

A quality LB who could cover would be nice too.

Beane - get on the phones.  Get Shaheed here for starters- and keep going!

Rest assured, he’s serious about winning the SB.

I certainly would like to see an upgrade to our WR roster. That being said, I think the area of our team that has the greatest talent deficit is our secondary.

He seemed to fiddle with defensive attention and free up other guys….it was probably more subtle than most people expected but the offense got significantly better overall with him in the lineup

Total speculation but id bet it was unconsciously laying around in back of his mind.  Then he got injured again, body not responding like it used to. New playbook and surroundings, no chemistry built from TC. He's a pretty introspective guy.  I could see all those changes bringing him to the realization he was done shortly after getting here.

We've heard that kind of inner monologue expressed from a bunch of retired players talking about what the end looked like.  I think he was a professional and handled it well, its just father time comes for us all
