colin Posted Monday at 03:55 AM Posted Monday at 03:55 AM Lots of blame to go around, but how in the hell does this team not line up in 2+ tight end sets like 75% of the time? Our run and te play is absolutely the best in the NFL, and it lets us do all kinds of things on o. Instead we have Allen forcing balls to tiny shakir, holding the ball forever with no one open and trash head was taking snaps. Like, it just shocks me how no one at one bills drive notices this. They just don't make adjustments or have a cogent concept of what our team is. It's all just mcd having his sippy scheme on d, bad special teams, and on o constant re shuffling of who lines up over and over, and I think the unfamiliarity of the players week to week leads to penalties. 1 2 Quote

Of course if the Bills win the division, which I think they will, and the lock up the #3 seed and lose in the divisional round McD's job is safe and we'll be living in the movie Groundhog Day. we’ve lost in AFCCG’s before. It’s not enough Quote

Ravens are down and out, Chargers are Chargering (lost to a much worse team than the Pats). Bills could still have a 2 game lead on KC with a head-to-head later in the season after tomorrow night. I guess if you believe in the Colts, Steelers or Jags. Bills are still in the driver's seat for the #1 seed (especially if we beat KC in our matchup). I think you know the answer. Quote

Unfortunately, Josh may never be able to overcome the coaching and defense handicap to even get to a Super Bowl, much less win one. This success of the team once again falls entirely on Josh's shoulders. McD and Beane would have been fired years ago if Josh wasn't carrying them and the rest of the team on his back. The funny thing is I kind of agree with you but for different reasons. Im 100% on keeping mcD because what are the odds you get a better coach to capitalize joshs prime. And i think mcD is a great but not elite coach. And there lies the issue, Andy Reid is maybe the greatest coach of all time when it comes to " gotta have it" plays, he always has the perfect play when its all on the line. And thats the difference between josh and mahomes, he will never have that perfect play in the gotta have it moments. And I honestly think McD is the coach that will always get you "right there" but without a degree of luck or elite D like the eagles, it will be a tough road to win it all with McD as the coach. It’s unpredictable. honestly the Bills and other clubs should not be going 6-0 in division. It should be hard like this. Before the season i said we’d be 4-2 in division. that’s still in play. The 1 seed is up for grabs as i dont think KC or anyone else will run away and hide. Seems like it ends pretty predictably every year Quote

Toyo321 Posted Monday at 03:55 AM Posted Monday at 03:55 AM (edited) D = Trash #27 = Trash Should have never signed this has been. He is a liability every time he lines up on the field. Babich = Trash Milano = Trash, we have no linebackers at all..... Not even #8 can make up for the horrendous play at the position in 2025. There is not one player on D that should not have their head pulled out of their but after this game. This Defense is the worst group of players I have watched for Buffalo in the last 15 years. Undisciplined, can't tackle, can't defend the run, can't defend the pass and they say this is a Super Bowl team... Noooooooo way in hell is this team a super bowl contender with the quality of the D on this team right now. Suspensions and injuries are part of the game but this D showing was a embarrassment the last two weeks in a row. Sorry had to vent, that was just sorry ass football tonight. Bills!Win! Posted Monday at 03:56 AM Posted Monday at 03:56 AM I wonder what our last loss at highmark stadium will be? I was hoping we would go undefeated here at home. I guess not Quote
Buffalo ill Posted Monday at 03:56 AM Posted Monday at 03:56 AM Bills have two good players and neither had a stand out game tonight. Now that NE has a better coach and what appears to be a solid young qb, it will be their turn to get bounced in the divisional round by KC while the Bills fall flat in the wild card. 1 1 Quote

He’d ned to be flawless for three or four games in a row to win it all. Chiefs have been able to win that game in recent years because of their Defense. We can’t. And every year Allen has to try to beat that Defense with subpar WR’s, while Mahomes goes up against an undersized, injured Bills Defense. Seems to be trending the same way this year. Our hope being that KC fell back to the pack and not that we caught them. 2 Quote
dcinmuncie Posted Monday at 03:56 AM Posted Monday at 03:56 AM I knew we weren’t going 17-0 i can stomach a loss when the other team just out ‘awesomes’ you (rams last year ) it’s hard to stomach when it’s a) a divisional opponent and b) a game you gave away with poor decisions and penalties 1 Quote

You can talk about analytics all you want, but look at the result. It happened just as I expected it would when we did the "analytical" thing. Easy to say after the fact, “look at the result” argument is garbage. Nobody in the world goes for it there. D gets a stop after the FG and we win the game. They didn’t 1 Quote

That deficiency showed up tonight and it's particularly glaring given how Diggs torched them all night. Diggs was good. He exploited the short routes and what the defense was giving. It happens.
