DrDawkinstein Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I'm more curious than ever as to what happened to Oliver. He danced around giving any info in his press conference until someone directly asked him "exactly what happened?", and even then his response was "What did they tell you happened?". The reporter answered "they said you got stepped on" and he said "then I got stepped on". 3 11 1 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) If the Pats were 3-1 or even 4-0, I’d hope that Brown, Ed and Milano were ready to go. Got a game in hand divisionally; 2-0 to their 1-0. Best just to get them absolutely 100% healthy as the next two games should be wins, even if the score line is close. Edited October 1 by Sojourner 1 1 Quote

A couple weeks ago I wouldve said rest them, but the way the Pats are playing, and it being a Divisional game which will always be tough, get everyone ready. 3 17 1 Quote

That’s a great point and I don’t disagree. But we are 2-0 in the division and should be coming away with the better record come Week 18. At least you would hope. Given the Bernard scare on Sunday, rest Milano as much as possible. Brown and Ed are absolutely pivotal to a lot of their side of the ball’s success. Same goes for them. Can see it either way though. 4 Quote

As expected imo Was hoping they’d start that 21 day window given he’s started some personal drills. I can’t remember what McD said exactly but it was something to the effect of “the athletic trainer is working with him… nothing further…” 1 Quote

Seems he's not there yet still. My take was always that we wouldn't see him until after the Bye. They aren't going to just throw him on the field after not practicing with the team in months. Still a chance that he's brought back to practice next week. That would give him practice for Week 6, the work they do during the Bye, and practices leading up to Week 8. But not a great sign that they decided not to this week. 2 Quote

They figured they wouldn't need him and let him ride around on a little scooter for the media with a 'foot injury'. Meanwhile he was busting his ass in the training room and at the meetings because the only thing that really matters is winning games in January and February. Let some of the young guns get some reps and give the cowboy some extra time to gear up for the big games. That's a win-win if you ask me 1 1 1 Quote
Charles Romes Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Not sure I hate Hairston being held out against the Chiefs but playing in the January rematch. 2 Quote

JMM Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Man Ed looks like he's not close. Gotta be a bad high ankle sprain alright. I know one thing, if they think they can play run D against the Pat's like they have the last few weeks? Well, Josh will need to put up 35. Quote
HurlyBurly51 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Dorian should sit this week, and let Shaq play 2 2 Quote

I'll be honest thY whole story stinks The fact he showed up to the press conference after the injury supposedly occured does not pass the smell test I think he twisted at home, or got stepped on by one of his horses and the team did him a solid and said, yup happened at practice He would not have attended the PC and of he was injured, someone would have noticed a slump or something 1 3 Quote
