sirebors Posted October 1 Posted October 1 My biggest takeaways... 1. Josh loves a lot of people. 2. Josh's financial advice: “Buy land, they're not making any more of it.“ 3. Wristbands make Josh's hands sweatier. 4 Quote

Ralonzo Posted October 1 Posted October 1 There was another thread where soemone mentioned that 3rd and 5 run by Josh just sucked the souls out of the Saints and it wasn't long after that where Rumph came up to Allen and said "I hate you" 2 minutes ago, Playoffs? said: How can you not absolutely love this guy? 1 Quote

PoundingDog Posted October 1 Posted October 1 A few guys Mic'd up will give you some insight as how they talked about plays during the game. Josh is the best Bills to do so I have watched. I liked how he explained to guys what he saw. One particular scene is he and Palmer worked over a play where they exchanged each other's view on the play. I know this is fairly common on NFL sidelines, still it makes you feel good that a new comer like Palmer should be getting more in sync with Josh as the season goes on. On the funny side, it sounded like Josh got his butt (right side?) burn on that first-down-run slide. He probably can't wait to slide on the grass turf next year at home. Mrs. Allen may not want to look at hubby's bum for a few days. Quote
transient Posted October 1 Posted October 1 The first down run turf burn slide, when he picks up the ball and "tosses" it to the ref, intentional "incoming" given the officiating that afternoon? ...or accidentally launched it at a guy not expecting it? Quote

stevewin Posted October 1 Posted October 1 This was one where they tried to sneak the mic on him without telling, at the end he says he figured it out in the 2nd Q. They've done that with him before.. Seems a bit invasive to not even tell, but I guess it's part of what you sign up for 1 Quote

He knows the team isn't going to post anything bad. 1 Quote
Bruffalo Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Man, if I heard "I love you" as many times growing up as Josh has said it during a single game my childhood would have felt way different. 2 3 Quote

It sounded like he already had turf burn on his butt, and he ripped off the healing skin with a new burn 1 hour ago, stevewin said: This was one where they tried to sneak the mic on him without telling, at the end he says he figured it out in the 2nd Q. Josh has specifically asked them NOT to tell him. Edited October 1 by Beck Water Quote

The best IMO still when that Miami LB was trash talking Josh and he stopped and leaned back to read his nameplate, like "who are you again?" 12 hours ago, transient said: The first down run turf burn slide, when he picks up the ball and "tosses" it to the ref, intentional "incoming" given the officiating that afternoon? ...or accidentally launched it at a guy not expecting it? Josh would never throw a ball at a ref's head. I'm sure that was an accident. Quote
DapperCam Posted October 1 Posted October 1 His reaction to his interception is conspicuously missing. I can only imagine he said something like “Keon, you are one slow m***** f*****!” 4 Quote
