He's a challenging interview.  A man of very few words.   Interviewer has to keep peppering him with questions because his responses are terse.

I can't stand games like this, where we're huge favorites, and everybody is just assuming we're going to win. I hate the term "trap game," but I just hope the Bills aren't losing focus on the Saints because they're looking ahead to the following week when they have to face (checks notes)... the Patriots...

He got beat a few times in the Dolphins game. Maybe that's the reason.

I think Dawkins is not up his play last year, either. Hope they play into their level thru these games to the bye week

The Amazon pregame show last week interviewed Cook and Keon during the week and aired it during TNF.  Such bad television.  They both sounded clueless and had nothing to say.  Keon is goofy and speaks in slang and Cook is not comfortable speaking on camera, ever.

Anyway, regarding the game.  New Orleans is overmatched obviously but if they don't allow special teams returns and don't turn the ball over, they might be able to hang in there for a half.  A division rival like Miami has some good ideas on how to slow Allen and the Bills.  A bad NFC team who never plays Buffalo will not have that slight intangible.

Keep all of them out of this game. Make Landon Jackson active so Bosa isn't stuck getting 80% of the reps again. Call up Frank Gore Jr so Cook can get some rest too. The only thing that can go wrong in this game is someone important gets a new injury or aggravates an existing one.

Sorry but the fan "arrogance" of resting all these players is over the top.  Fans should have learned their lesson from Dolphins game, that wasn't the blowout must of us had envisioned.  You sit all these guys, not only is it dangerous but you are also sending a message to the team that not take this game seriously.

Right. They are not going to sit Bosa to see if Landon Jackson can work well or not. They are not going to sit Cook and use Gore Jr. Game day you dress 45. At a position, you have a number, say DE, not more than 5. You can't activate both Bosa and Jackson, Cook and Gore Jr. etc. because otherwise, other area will suffer. Between the starters and backups, you may see backups taking more snaps if the game going our way. That's it. For example, if the Bills are up big and the Saints are into passing mode exclusively, you may see more of Epenesa and Solomon in the 4th quarter than Rousseau and Bosa.

yea I heard on wgr that the bills have not beat the saints in buffalo since 1983.

Means nothing but it is interesting.

Who was the Bills QB in 1983?

If you were ranking the NFL in tiers, you'd have the Giants, Panthers, a few other teams like that, in the bottom tier. Then you'd have a big blank space below them. And then you'd have the Saints. This is not comparable to the Dolphins game, at all. The Saints are the only team that is starting a QB who is barely even backup quality. This is like those games we've had over the years where we've faced the Davis Mills led Texans or the Drew Lock led Broncos. And those teams had some sort of talent. The Saints have nothing they can hang their hat on unless Kamara just dominates.

The ONLY way we lose this game is multiple wacky mistakes that this version of the Bills just doesn't make anymore. I was gonna say or if Allen gets injured but no even if Trubisky was starting this game we'd win. I'd bet even money on a 30+ win margin before I'd bet the moneyline on the Saints.

I didn't say they should sit Bosa or Cook. I said they should manage their reps. The season is a marathon and we should use the easy games on our schedule to give them a bit of a break.

My guess is the Bills will jump out to a huge lead. Game will be over by halftime. Starters sit in the 2nd half. The Saints probably get a meaningless TD in garbage time. Bills win comfortably but fail to cover the spread.

Sure the win margin in a game like this can be unpredictable because who knows what happens in the 4th quarter if the game is effectively over. But to put it in perspective the Saints are +830 to win this game. The Bills are +800 at -32.5. The sportsbooks are telling you it's more likely we win by 5 scores than it is that the Saints win the game.

Agree- and sportsbooks telling us neither of those scenarios are likely.

I expect a 10-14 point lead at halftime.  But everyone saying our starters will be resting entire 2nd half are nuts....that would be possible but unrealistic.  I expect final 6-10 min to be backups

One thing to remember is McDermott isn't the type of coach to run up the score. The Bills may very well blowout the Saints because of the huge advantage in talent but McDermott will probably "call off the dogs" so the score doesn't get way out of hand.
