it’s nit picky tonight. It may be the difference in us taking the trophy home later though. 

Again Brady teams did this in the regular season against certain teams all the time.. it's the NFL.. the dolphins could bring their a game we could bring our c+ game and win 

 

Even when it was 14-14 we barely opened it up.. this felt more like a glorified game where the outcome was known 

 

 not an actual dog fight.. tua threw for 140 yds.. I never thought this game was close despite the score

We have depth and Beane has that whole Jeremy White dust up.  Also we traded for one last year and it was meh. 
 

So we have to hope Keon can learn to do the one thing he can do man up, which is win with physicality.  Failed to do that again today on his one outside target.  
 

I do know a Spags Defense will key on the fact we only successfully throw inside the numbers down the field to slots, tight ends and running backs or around the LOS.

I'm of the opinion that Josh (and Brady) don't want to push plays like that early in this season.  Deep throws are low percentage and 

the Bills are winning now with high percentage plays.

Against the dolphins I don't think they're worried about how many possessions they're getting.. Josh could have turned it on at any point in this game I have no doubt 

 

The bills aren't opening up the passing game until it's forced... They're going to be content all year playing three phase football... There will be a time when Josh throws 40 times and it won't be good for the opponent

your probably not wrong..but  i just think its too easy sometimes, especially with better teams to get caught behind the 8ball when your approach is 

lackadaisical until its no longer an option.

 

and yeah your right about keeping it away from Kc but again it got so bad that our only answer was the tush push for 8 plays that didnt work.

Allen was very accurate tonight.  How many passes did he miss that weren't throwaways? 1 by my count.

 

Within the game plan Allen was masterful and again the Dolphins robbed the O of at least 2 extra possessions because the D allowed them to go on 3 LONG, time consuming drives.  The 3 Miami TD's chewed up over18 minutes. McD simply won't accept giving up big plays but IMO if the Finns had scored those 3 TD's on big plays and used up only 9 minutes the Bills likely get 2 more possessions and add at least 1 TD to the final score.

I think it's a combination of the receivers not creating enough separation, and Joe Brady not doing a good enough job of scheming them open. (Example, more play action on 1st downs)

I think so.  That’s why so many of us wanted to add speed at WR that could threaten with deep shots.

if we didn’t get the roughing the kicker and they marched down the field what would you have thought?

I think after 8 years of dominating with dolphins it's not always easy to wake up for them even if they're a divisional rivalry 

 

We all say Josh is their daddy.. pretty sure Josh doesn't wake up as easy for them as he does some other teams 

 

He always rises up and when we need him he's going to be Superman this year I have no doubt

The bills want their offense to control the game, they will always try to run first then go back to Allen's arm after

It's a divisional game in the NFL the dolphins were going to fight tooth and nail to not be 0-2.. players jobs and coaches jobs are on the line

they could have got to more posssesion, they also could have not gotten the int.   

and i agree he excuted the plan tonight, but he wasnt asked to do much..make short throws mostly under 10 yards.   standard stuff

In the flow of this game where they didn't let Josh cook it doesn't surprise me 

 

They're going to feed James Cook and ty this entire year and take the load off Josh like this fan base has been screaming for for years 

 

This website has been screaming for years that we need to take the Superman cape off Josh.. they are now doing it

 

He's going to have probably career low regular season numbers and watch it come out in a super bowl

brady was never afraid to go down the field.   he didnt always do it full time but u slipped up one time on coverage and he was there.  

plus NE was usually pretty good at stretching the field...     what pissed me off about them was marching down the field on pass interference calls.

You are 100% right they have been screaming to take the load of Josh.  Now they are screaming he's not passing enough LOL
