We're going to win some that we have no business winning and we'll lose some that will have us absolutely scratching our heads and call for firings, so......

We have business winning every single game….. but it doesn’t mean we will

Chiefs is my pick

Would love to flip the script and beat them in the postseason

The Jets - last regular season game at Highmark when they have the #1 seed sewn up and all the starters are on the bench for most of the game.

NYC media crows "The Jets are back, baby!"

Tony Masiello appears at the game and announces that next year at the new stadium "Will be the economic rebirth of WNY."

I was looking at this game yesterday, 2nd to last week, but what formerly wouldve been last week of the season.  Its so important to lock up the 1 seed prior to that game IMO. I DO NOT want to have to play them right before playoffs, with a possible rematch, if we handle our biz this year.

Absolutely crucial to be able to sit our guys that week fully, or roll them out for a 1st quarter only "stay sharp" only kinda game.  Could be even bigger if we got to rest our guys/play vanilla, while getting a chance to see their starters while they need to win a game late!!!

Thats far away, but handle our biz week to week, and this could potentially really pay off IMO

I’m not sure the eagles are the best team in the NFC anymore…the NFC playoffs is gonna be fascinating.

the bye is absolutely massive…even when the chiefs were the 3 seed they got a week of rest and they’re always freakishly healthy come playoff time while we are missing a top tier defensive player or two.  If we had the bye in 2023 instead of losing our whole LB room against pit I think we win that game fairly easily.

They are until proven they aren't . They have started the season out fantastically. Packers are the only other NFC team to look this good but they need to prove it over the rest of this season.

First L comes against KC. Before you came at me lose this game reverse the curse that is KC in the playoffs.

While i dislike the projection, I am on board with the philosophy of your thought

I hope our next loss is in preseason 2026, but if I’m forced to pick the first one in 2025, I will guess the Falcons. They look decent this season. It’s a prime time game in the dome in Atlanta. It could be a trap game for us.

It doesn't even take a loss for there to be threads to want people fired and/or cut - the GDT and morning after a close win can be BRUTAL!

We’ll find out a lot next week…I think the rams are sneakily very good.  Took the eagles down to the wire on the road in the playoffs and that was their starters only loss since the regular season eagles game week 12.  Feels like their defense picks up their offense when they don’t show up and vice versa.

if the eagles rough them up then yea id agree it’s only the packers probably.

I see the Bills just getting tougher as the season goes on. This could be the year that we're not snake bit by injuries. Philadelphia could equally be resting starters for that game. And I'm not so certain Buffalo will be far enough ahead of the Ravens to rest starters with 2 games to go before the season ends. It's a long season. A lot can happen. It does feels like this could be the year for Buffalo.

Just keep stacking wins, one game at a time. At the end of the regular season, it won't even matter.... if no one can catch us.

Can’t pinpoint it but every year they seem to have that one game where absolutely nothing goes right. The game plan is horrible and the players that live on the waiver wire of your 20 team fantasy league all of the sudden become world beaters. When does it happen? Who knows but there’s just too much talent in the NFL to make it through unscathed.

We all ready had that game in week one. And we still won.

I’m going to say the script is flipped and KC beats the Bills in the regular season and the Bills beat KC in the playoffs. I think that the Bills finish 14-3 or 15-2 assuming they stay healthy. They’ll drop a game that they shouldn’t, KC and maybe the Eagles/Texans/Bucs/Pats.

If Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers live on your waiver wire, can you send me an invite to your league next season?

(You all will love this thread on victory Monday)

Seeing how we well we are playing now, that we get a couple of defensive players back in few weeks and assuming that the young 'uns on defense gel by mid-season, I am having a really tough time seeing a loss on our schedule. But we all know how difficult it is to go unbeaten. Also, I dont want to jinx it. So if we assume there will be at least one loss this season, which game has your vote?

Dolphins - naah

Saints - no QB, still re-building

Patriots* - Maybe if Vrabel does his thing for playing  tough in the trenches and this is his Superbowl

Falcons - way too underpowered to slow us down

Panthers - Naah

Chiefs - they should have Rice back by this time so it is likely but I feel we are more balanced overall on Defense and can avoid the typical issues with their offense

Dolphins - they will be thinking about next season at this time, so naah

Buccaneers - a possible loss as they are a tough team and on a good day, can give us fits

Texans - while good overall, it remains to be seen if CJ Stroud can recapture his rookie form. But I dont think they have the overall horses to stop us

Steelers - Again, could be a tough game but Rodgers' arm would be hurting by this time

Bengals - Maybe Burrow will be back by this time but he will be rusty and our Defense should be fully revved up by this time

Patriots - see above

Browns - good overall team but still looking for a QB.

Eagles - first real possibility of a loss with how tough that team is. But if we have the #1 seed locked up, many of our starters will be resting

Jets - rrriigght

So, in summary, I think our first loss could be to the Patriots, Bucs or Eagles.

What do y'all think?

Why the ever loving hell would you ask that?
