Low Positive Posted Thursday at 01:46 AM Posted Thursday at 01:46 AM 1 hour ago, Dan said: Agreed with all this… which is why the closer we get to tomorrow night, the more nervous I get listening to the entire football world predict an ultimate beatdown and Miami collapse. It may be a beat down…but they still have an offense that can exploit our depleted back 7. I just hope the players really don’t watch any of the pundits talk! Their back 7 is even weaker and more depleted than ours, so the worst-case scenario should be a shootout. And I trust Josh to win that game. But yes, the Bills could lose. It's an NFL game and "any given Sunday" (or Thursday in this case), but this is a game that the Bills should win fairly easily. They played the Pats tough and looked better last week, but I think that we now know that the Pats are, at least in the early part of this season, not nearly as improved as we thought they would be. We know that because the Raiders beat them, and then looked completely lost against the Chargers at home. Just like with the Jets. Everyone said, "Ooh, look at how the Jets offense looked against the vaunted Steeler defense." Then we all learned in week two that the Steelers' defense kinda sucks. Quote

Not saying you're right, not saying you're wrong, but it's easy to say stuff. I did find the Douglas interview interesting. I heard Tre' White interviewed when the Rams traded him to the Ravens for a 7th round pick swap, and had only good things to say about the Rams and their style of coaching and the way they do things, while also saying positive things about the Ravens. Good ol' #5 Jalen Ramsey is a recent example. Had some not terribly cryptic comments about coaching/McDaniel upon being traded to Pitt. I'm sure there are others. I mean, we all saw Hard Knocks. We all know how "football people" and pundits talk about him. He's not secretly beloved by his guys and the rest of us have it wrong. Quote

RunTheBall Posted Thursday at 02:17 AM Posted Thursday at 02:17 AM This Bills team is at peak maturity. This year and next are our best chances to reach and hopefully win the Super Bowl. Josh has reached another level with his mental understanding of the game. He’s reaching Brady levels of Zen. You don’t see Sugar High Josh anymore for more than a play or 2 in the beginning of the game. I don’t see them taking any team lightly even a dumpster fire like Miami. The only way Miami wins this game is if we have multiple turnovers. On D, they have a bunch of pass rushers trying to come back from season ending injuries. Our pass protection has been adequate but they can play a lot better. They have Dodson at LB so Shakir/Cook/Kincaid should absolutely feast on him. Their secondary is a dumpster fire. I’d come out and pass to set up the run but knowing Brady, we are going to come out and establish James first. I’d go all out run and shoot on these guys, let Josh cook. On offense, their offensive line is ASS, especially their right side. Bosa should have a field day. Maybe Rousseau will actually get a sack. I think McDaniel is going to spam Archane big time in the run and the pass. I suspect he’s going to try to run the ball a helluva lot more than he has in the last 2 games. I’d play the same style defense we did against the Jets. D-line slants one way or the other and keeps the LBs clean to make tackles. Take out Archane first, then Hilll, then Waddle who’s just collecting a pay check. They have no TE to worry about. This should be a double digit win. Our overall talent is better, our coaching is better, and Josh hates Miami so I expect another AFC Player of the Week. Fk Miami! 4 Quote

Shortchaz Posted Thursday at 03:30 AM Posted Thursday at 03:30 AM The bills are now a team that makes nearly no negative plays. It’s boring at times, but something to behold. Miami is going to be desperate and that can be dangerous but they have at best a 10% chance of winning this game. Quote

This is a master class on how to handle an interior stunt by our middle three with both tackles stonewalling 1v1 on the edge. This unit is awesome! https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTQFcsno9M3 P.S. if anyone is aware of a way to take a video, and embed it directly or convert to a gif link that would work, PM me! Nice view there. Torrence absolutely manhandled his guy, driving him way outside. Thing of beauty. Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted Thursday at 03:42 AM Posted Thursday at 03:42 AM It’s absolutely crazy that you spend the whole year missing and waiting for football to come back and this time tomorrow we will have already played 3 games. It goes so fast. Anyone that has issues with more games is insane. I wish the season was 25 games. This is way too short Quote

ChronicAndKnuckles Posted Thursday at 05:19 AM Posted Thursday at 05:19 AM Great hour long video on the Bills/Dolphins matchup. Despite what you think of Gruden (I love him, huge part of my childhood) it’s a very good breakdown and hilarious. 2 Quote

I think Buffalo will win, but Miami is capable of putting up points. I have watched this Bills team under McD lay an egg every year. I want to believe this year is different, and I will is each week they show up prepared with a good game plan and execute it. We're fans. We can be as overconfident as we want because it has no impact on the game. The players and coaches are the ones who have to take the Dolphins seriously. 4 Quote

This is also why I don't get overly upset anymore when they loose, cause it's not like it's my fault! 1 Quote
