These phantom holds are awful. The refs just look for these “tells” and call holds from them. They don’t actually see the hold. Just because a guy falls down though, it doesn’t mean it is a hold!

I’ve said it for years, just call the blatantly obvious stuff. Don’t throw a flag because you *think* you saw something. It needs to be 100% obvious

This is terrible clock management at the end of the half. They played for the field goal. 
 

 

and missed FG. Washington played for the field goal and got what they deserved.

So far this has been a tale of teams playing at completely different levels. It hasn’t even been close. The score is way closer than it actually had been on the field.

Play for the FG, miss it, then give your opponent good field position to try for an even shorter FG. That's not how you steal a game that is slipping away from you.
