Special K Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Only 5 people knocked out in week 1........far less than last year's disaster. My thoughts were either Ravens or Cardinals, but after the Ravens implosion vs the Bills, I feel there is an outside chance of a "meltdown" game and Cleveland could steal one. Therefore I will go with the Cards at home vs. the Panthers. Who ya got?? Quote
Southern McButterpants Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I'm going with the Rams - i don't think think they'll see an easier game. Quote
BigDingus Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Jags over Bengals... because I have no self-preservation instincts. 2 Quote
Albany,n.y. Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I have 2 entries in the pool I'm in. I picked Detroit & Baltimore. I had Arizona & Philly last week. Quote
MJS Posted September 10 Posted September 10 It's always a little risky choosing teams going against division rivals. Quote
BigAl2526 Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I'm in two. In the first, I have Dallas over the Giants. In the second, I have San Francisco over New Orleans. The Dallas pick is probably a bit risky, but I think Russell Wilson is probably toast and the Giants aren't ready to trust Jaxon Dart just yet. Quote

While I think NO is one of the worst teams in the league, I couldn't risk Brock Purdy not playing & having to rely on Mac Jones at QB. I don't think it's clear who will be SF's QB on Sunday. Quote
BritBill Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I’ve gone Dallas this week. I saw enough offensively versus Philly to suggest they’ll have the ability to beat the Football Giants. 1 Quote
qwksilver Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Ravens. I am expecting a bounce back game. 1 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I'm in a different league but am still alive after taking the Cardinals week 1. This week I think the Ravens are going to be pissed at the world and take it out on the Browns at home. Quote

First, they are the largest favorite, which you should always avoid if you’re actually trying to win the pool. Second, I guarantee you Cleveland’s defense is going to slow them down (familiarity, division opponent). Third, you’ve got the Flacco factor. I see a game in the 20s and I’m staying away from it. 1 Quote
Roundybout Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I've got Pittsburgh. I think their defense will clamp down on a bad Seattle o-line after a pretty mediocre week last week. Quote

I fear for Flacco's health in this one, the Ravens Defense has something to prove. Quote

I was thinking the same thing. Ravens split with Cleveland last year. Yes, the game's in Baltimore, but I just don't trust it. 1 Quote
