If you left early, you have to stand at mid midfield at 7:00 pm next Thursday and let the team throw rotten tomatoes at you to hold you "accountable." And then we all get to throw bags of dog poo at McDermott to finally hold him accountable for 13 seconds.

It's nothing short of miraculous that our DEF forced two 3 and outs and a fumble after that. We had only forced 1 punt (and no turnovers) on the Ravens first 9 drives.

Getting into online pissing contests over who is the biggest fan is some consolation prize mentality.   Our team has never won a superbowl so all we have is some arbitrary title of "best fan base".  Might as well be a "worlds best dad" coffee mug.

Maybe people had certain individual reasons...sure, get your 95 year old gramps home...but a *mass* exodus like that when it's a primetime season opener and the best QB in franchise history is only down a couple scores is a straight up weenie move and indicative of a fanbase that expects to be the bug rather than the windshield even though the team has been really good for the better part of a decade.

Historically the Bills are the bug in that situation. You can’t blame fans for losing a little faith sometimes, especially when the Bills are usually on the other end of those crazy comeback wins. Give people a break, I'm sure they’re regretting their decision

Which is totally fine - but what Josh said is also totally fine.  

Reality is that if the Bills were up or game was tied 30% of the stadium wouldn’t have left.  All he is saying is the game was still winnable, have a little more faith next time.  30% of the stadium just missed out on one of the biggest comebacks and moments in the stadium history and in prime time of the home opener of the last year in the stadium.  If there was ever a night to stay a little longer that was it — but people left cuz they didn’t Bill-ieve and all he said was have a little more faith next time.  
 

He didn’t throw anyone under the bus, just pointed out had people had a little more faith they would have witnessed greatness.  
 

You compared it earlier to that deuche canoe Watkins, and Josh’s comments were no where that realm is really all I was saying.

this whole debate makes me chippy. Fans pay good money to attend an NFL game and is their prerogative when they leave.

 

In retrospect of course they will forevermore be reminded NOT TO EVER LEAVE EARLY with #17 as our QB. and be regretful they did. 

 

But let's be real. It wasn't  Allens prowess they doubted. II was the Bills defense ability to stop Henry which appeared hopeless . 1% chance of Victory?

The only game I ever left early was in the winter of ‘96.  It was so cold that the vendors ran out of hot chocolate in the first quarter.  The Bills were up big on the Jets, me in from California, my brother and wife from Texas, so we got the hell out of there in the 4th Quarter.  Even my nephews who live there wanted to leave.
