Maynard Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Glenn looked like a hot sweaty mess to me today. Was pretty sure he was about to have a seizure at one point as well. 5 1 Quote
TBBills Fan Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I wouldn't write Glenn off yet. It's year one. Quote

Aussie Joe Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Just a shocking game from the Jets today … how can they be that bad with some of those guys Quote

Simon Posted September 14 Author Posted September 14 Should we even be surprised any more when people display an embarrassing lack of reading comprehension and show themselves to have the mental and emotional capacity of booger-flinging first graders. It's where entitlement and the internet has brought us. 1 3 2 Quote

Maybe he does this draft. 3 Quote

It’s because they can’t find a QB 1 Quote

Augie Posted September 14 Posted September 14 That Jets team was more than a QB away. I’m not saying they can’t get there, but they helped us a lot today. Quote

Dramatic would have been "Aaron Glenn will be a great coach in only 1 week and take the Jets to the SuperBowl!!!" Suggesting that we need to watch out for him down the road and that he's going to become a problem over the next couple years isn't exactly overdramatizing it, imo. 2 1 1 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I know the Jets like him as a motivator, but the guy never had a top ten defense in his years as DC in Detroit. In fact he his defenses finished in the bottom half of the league in both points and yards given up every year he was there. I thought Saleh was a bad hire when they made it and got roasted here for saying so. He was a fake tough guy and that nonsense wears on people, especially when you're losing. They hired Glenn because the owner was comfortable with him. He never coached a good defense. The Jets are not going to get better unless they get a quarterback. If they are able to find on in the draft, by the time he develops Glenn will be gone. 1 Quote

When the most perfect example of Dunning-Kruger in the history of this forum throws 3rd grade snark at one of my observations, it just makes me wonder if I am even more on track than I thought I was. 1 Quote

Making this thread after they kept it close with the perennially mediocre Steelers in week 1 is at least 75% as silly as everyone coming in one week later to dunk on you about it. Like, I get what you’re saying, but you kind of asked for it. 2 1 Quote
