I didn't realize in real time how close a Raven was to blocking that kick at the end. He knew it, too - he put his head in his hands right after he just missed it.

Whew.  What a game.

I am 100% convinced Hamilton got some of that ball.

And if it was with the hand with the broken finger that they buddy-taped earlier, I cannot help but wonder if that mattered.

If we had known any of this from our vantage in the stands, I think some people would have heart attacks. Legitimately. It was bonkers enough as is.

This sheds some light on the play where the ravens quick snapped and caught the bills off guard and johnson and bishops blitzes looked late and discombobulated.

I think he broke a finger on that 3rd down play where he slung Shakir down earlier; his hand might have accidentally been caught in his helmet or shoulder pad.

Not sure if you saw him go to the locker room from where you were sitting; he eventually came out with his pinky and ring finger buddy-taped together but I can't remember now which hand it was on.

Kinda figured that was what must have happened.

They were also running some no-huddle right out of the gate and they were clearly well-prepared for this game; much better than the Bills, imo.

We were vaguely aware that Hamilton was injured at one point. Didn't know any details.

So rewatched the game winning kick and Deone Walker made a huge no no on the wing position leaving a gaping hole for Kyle Hamilton to go through. We were incredibly lucky he didn't block that. Almost a game blowing mistake by the rookie.

Incredibly lucky is right. I never want to see a free rusher like that again

So I watched video of the celebration and Walker didn’t partake too much in celebrating with the team after it. I think he knew he screwed up and got lucky

How cool was Josh on that last drive? He knew all we needed was a FG and didn’t force anything.

The throw to Josh was one of the amazing throws in a clutch situation and he executed it with such calmness.

Josh Palmer is going to be a big difference maker on this offense as it gets to work together more.   Today,  Palmer, Coleman, Shakir and Kincaid played great.  Our WR are going to be good.

I just watched the replay of the winning FG

Look carefully and #44 on the ravens was unblocked and came in untouched

It looks like he missed by mere inches of blocking the kick

NFL is always a game of INCHES.

Two pretty cool facts from NFL.com:

Josh has seven games with two pass TDs and two rush TDs, most ever--number two and three are Steve Young and Cam Newton, and they have seven such games COMBINED.

The other fact:

"The Bills QB became the fourth reigning MVP in NFL history to account for at least four touchdowns in Week 1. The previous three such players -- Tom Brady in 2011, Brett Favre in 1996 and Thurman Thomas in 1992 -- all reached the Super Bowl that season."

The bigger astounding fact that  Allen is the only player in the Century to have passed for 250+ Yards in the 4th quarter.

Wow. Unless my brain is malfunctioning, that includes Brady, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers' careers. Whoa!
