Walking Tall Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I keep hearing revenge, revenge, revenge. Yeah, the Ravens lost to the Bills to end their season. The Bills also ended theirs by not scoring on their last drive to go to the Super Bowl. I guess only one team can come out fired up? 2 1 Quote
ddaryl Posted September 4 Posted September 4 It all comes down to how the front 4 on Defense plays. Injuries and suspensions say the game is not in the Bills favor, but we do have Josh Allen. If I'm going with my heart Bills 35 - Ravens 17 If I'm going by the inuries and suspensions I'm thinking Ravens 35 - Bills 17 1 Quote
corta765 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Welp time has come and I have thought it over long and hard. Ravens 27 Bills 24 I think this game mimics the first but Buffalo is chasing Baltimore and does not benefit from 3 Raven turnovers. The Ravens jump out early 7-0 behind a long drive capped by a Flowers TD. Josh and the offense move strongly downfield and tie the game on a Cook screen pass TD. The Ravens take the lead early 2nd quarter when the Bills secondary falters leaving Hopkins behind the safeties to put Baltimore up 14-7. Josh and the offense get a drive downfield right before half but settle for a FG when Knox drops a TD in the endzone with 3 seconds to go and the Bills are down 14-10 at half. The Bills get to midfield out of half but Kincaid fumbles and the Ravens get the ball. The Bills defense does hold the Ravens to a FG and it is 17-10 Baltimore. The Bills offense goes on a long clock running drive and Josh caps the drive with a TD run from 8 yards out to tie the game entering the 4th quarter. The Ravens get the ball and move quick with Lamar getting Andrews on a 30 yard pass beating the safeties again before Henry runs a TD in with 8 minutes left. Josh and the offense rally to tie the game with Coleman getting his first TD in the redzone to tie it at 24-24 with 3 minutes left. Unfortunately the Ravens have the hammer and are able to move downfield running the clock out before winning on a 45 yard FG sending the Buffalo faithful home sad. Allen 26-35 281 yds 2 TDs 30 yds rush 1 TD Cook 62 yds 14 carries 1 TD 40 yds rec Palmer 95 yds 3 rec Two notes: -People are pessimistic on the Bills in this game including myself because the defense has some injuries and in general will need time to find it's form. The one thing that could change this game where I see Buffalo winning 28-17 or something more sizable then close is IF Bosa plays like old and the d-line in general dominates. That to me is the Bills ace card on the season and I think by the end of the year it is a major issue for any opponent we play. I am just not sure it happens this early, but if it does I think Buffalo can win by more then one score. -Josh has never been great vs Baltimore. His best two games were the playoff game in 2020 run and 2022 in Baltimore. Last year he did what was needed in the post season which is fine but he has never had a big game vs Baltimore. I think win or loss Josh is superb finally and plays within himself throughout. 1 Quote

PauleeeWalnuts Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Defense is in shambles between the injuries, suspensions and lack of talent in the secondary. Ravens: 38 Bills: 20 1 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I think the Ravens O completely outclasses our D. If someone put a gun to my head and demanded my honest, most rational prediction, I'd say the Ravens by two scores. But there are no guns to my head: Bills: 32 Ravens: 17 1 1 1 Quote
