Is there a consensus yet?...is Ohio State the successor university to play some hapless NFL team, replacing Alabama? 🤔

It’s weird because the Bills would trade WR rooms or S rooms with Ohio State right now and be a lot better there. There were times Alabama had position groups like that as well. The biggest difference would be at the LOS. While these elite programs have NFL players everywhere, the guys at the LOS aren’t as physically developed or technically sound as NFL vets.

Good post, I don’t miss those old

debates of whether Bama could beat the Bills. The QB position is always overlooked in these debates as well. An elite college program could have more talent, but they’d still lose to teams with better/more experienced QB play. An AJ McCarron led Bama, or Justin Fields led OSU wouldn’t have beaten any NFL teams because the QB’s are backup level NFL players.

I wonder what Drew Allar would look like if his oline decided to block anyone.

When did the Ducks D become the 200o Ravens

Alabama currently has a trio of VERY good wide receivers, and they now have a QB who can find them.

If they stay healthy, Williams, Bernard, and Horton will all play in the NFL and do quite well imo.

A less panicky form of disappointing. He has not progressed at all since his freshman year.

He does look a lot the same as I remember him from last year.  A lot of natural ability there.  Not sure what the disconnect is.
