That's how it always goes down. One major source gets the scoop, then everyone else backs them up (as you saw with Alaina and Joe B.) and cites them as having the initial scoop. Nothing odd about it. No legit source is reporting on a teams 5th Defensive Tackle erroneously. It's not exactly the scoop of the century that you run to the presses with without having the full story Edited August 31 by BillsFanForever19 1 Quote

Hes a big boy and an Achilles is extremely hard to come back from for even elite athletes that aren't big boys. Hope the best for him. Death, taxes, and Phillips starting for the bills somehow every year. Klein making sure his call waiting is active on his phone too! 😃 1 Quote

The news was first reported by NFL reporter Jordan Schultz. It's not uncommon to not report a story without corroboration... depending on the source. 4 minutes ago, BlueRed said: Sucks for Carter. I agree with others that the drop off to Logue/Phillips probably wont be noticeable. But does anyone want to pretend to know anything about other teams practice squads - we could swipe someone else for the active roster and keep Logue/Phillips on the practice squad as well. Who’s out there that would be interesting? It'll be interesting to see if they backfill the PS with a developmental player or a veteran. Quote

I'd imagine Quintin Jefferson or Eli Ankou will take Logue's place on the Squad. Considering we're 1 injury away from having to call that guy up, I'd be surprised to see a player we'd have to develop and learn the scheme and playbook on top of it. BlueRed Posted August 31 Posted August 31 DT Brandon Pili from the Seahawks practice squad might be a good addition to the active roster - Get him in the building for a few weeks to compare with Logue and then go from there with whoever is best 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 My assumption is that Jordan Phillips will get bumped up to the 53 man squad unless the Bills think Logue is a lot better than I think he is. 1 Quote

Hard to believe with the Ravens in 7 days the team has the weekend off. They're busy doing podcasts promoting themselves and declaring "they're right". Quote

So because we have experienced players at other positions, we have to bring in a developmental player at a position of need that would be 1 injury away from being called up to the 53? I don't see the logic. 1 Quote

Victory Formation Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Should have traded for Harrison Phillips. Quote
